Grizzly Home Invasion Massacre Evidence Shown in Court
NEW HAVEN, Conn. — Hours after grisly evidence was presented in court detailing the rape and burning deaths of a woman and two young girls, the man accused of committing those crimes suffered seizure-like symptoms, his lawyer has told the court. The trial of Steven Hayes has been halted until Monday because of the accused killer’s medical condition.
On Thursday prosecutors showed jurors grim photos Thursday of rope used to tie up victims, ripped clothing and ransacked rooms in a suburban home invasion that began with the suspects trailing a mother and her two girls at a supermarket and ended with their deaths.
