Ghana Launches 10-Yr Project to Stop Child Abuse
Sunyani, Nov. 10, GNA – A 10- year national project to empower stakeholders to prevent child abuse, would be launched at Odumase in the Sunyani West District of the Brong Ahafo Region on Thursday November 11. The “Ghana Child Abuse Prevention Programme” (G-CAPP) is an initiative of the Global Media Foundation (GLOMEF), a Sunyani-based human rights media foundation. A statement signed by Mr Michael Boateng, Communication Director of GLOMEF and made available to the Ghana News Agency in Sunyani on Tuesday said the main goal of G-CAPP is to create public awareness on child abuse.
