Former political candidate heads to trial on 66 counts in child rape case
A man who ran for Lehman Township tax collector is heading to Pike County Court on 66 counts of child sexual abuse. At the end of a Wednesday preliminary hearing, a district judge found sufficient evidence to send the case against Hal Harris, 47, of Bushkill, to county court, where Harris can go to trial, plead guilty or plead no contest.
