AUGUSTA, GA — A 78-year-old Augusta man is facing multiple charges of child molestation as well as a rape charge. Harold “Dusty” Rhodes is in jail, accused of having sex with a 13-year-old girl. According to the incident report, the victim’s father contacted deputies after she told him about the alleged sexual assault. In a five page statement, the girl says that Rhodes has been molesting her since she was six years old, stating that he would make “sexual comments” to her while she was performing oral sex.
