Florida 2011 Stats: 130 Children Died From Child Abuse
ORLANDO — A new report out shows 130 Florida kids died because of child abuse or neglect in Florida in 2011. Healthy Families Florida released its annual Child Abuse Death Review Wednesday. The report says the Department of Children and Families that 130 deaths statewide were related to child abuse or neglect. Most of the children who died were under four years of age.
