Child abuse, neglect deaths in Lee County on the rise
The trend runs contrary to figures in Southwest Florida and throughout the state.
After mopping the floors one morning just over a year ago, a Hendry County mother of five left the bucket of water in the garage, out of reach of her 1-year-old daughter.
