Clearwater, Ks. – Cathleen Balman, a 39-year-old English teacher at Clearwater Middle School has been jailed after she allegedly had a year-long affair with a 15-year-old student. According to police, Balman was arrested earlier this month after what began as a child exploitation case mushroomed into a full fledged teacher/sex case that reportedly developed over a year’s time.
