Father Charged With Child Abuse

TRANSYLVANIA, N.C. –Terrance Deron Lewis, 43, of Pisgah Forest, faces one felony count of child abuse inflicting serious injury, according to deputies.
The investigation began after Lewis and the 5-month-old’s mother took the baby to Transylvania Regional Hospital.
