Dreamcatchers for Abused Children would like to take a moment to reflect upon our accomplishments in 2013. We couldn’t be more proud of our staff, board, sponsors, community partners and our followers who make our work possible. We will continue to be a voice for our children and strive for nonprofit excellence for ourselves and our colleagues in the sector. Child abuse has increased 134% since 1980 and is now considered a worldwide epidemic. The high jump in child abuse deaths and the shocking increase in statistics highlights the frightening lack of public knowledge.
