Deputy Sentenced To 15-Yrs For Child Abuse
A former Walton County Sheriff’s Deputy will be going to prison for abusing his infant daughter last year. Judge Kelvin Wells sentenced Jerid Day to 15 years in prison after April’s conviction of child abuse and child neglect. The courtroom testimony was quite emotional. Day’s uncle took the stand telling the judge that the former Walton County Deputy suffered job-related post-traumatic stress disorder.
