But inside the residence at Waterview Mobile Home Park on Thursday night, the Gloucester Sheriff’s Department discovered a 5- to 6-year-old girl imprisoned in a crib that had been modified to form a cage. The girl was “extremely malnourished and suffering from severe starvation,” according to the Gloucester County Sheriff’s Office. She was “covered in feces and in the nude.” A piece of wood kept the girl in her prison, according to a news release.
