Death Penalty Sought In Murder
DEKALB COUNTY, Georgia — A DeKalb man will now face the death penalty for the murder of 9-month-old Ken Darious Edwards Jr. The DeKalb County District Attorney’s Office filed a notice of intent to seek the death penalty on November 12, against Devin Thomas. “Because of the egregious nature of this senseless crime, my office had no choice but to seek the death penalty regarding the death of an innocent baby,” said District Attorney Robert James.
