Couple arraigned on multiple child sex assaults
WORCESTER — A Northbridge man and his wife, each charged with multiple counts of child sexual assault, pleaded not guilty at their arraignments yesterday in Worcester Superior Court.
Joseph Mayotte, 47, of 67 Laura Lane, Northbridge, was indicted March 18 on four counts of unnatural rape of a child, eight counts of indecent assault and battery on a child, five counts of indecent assault and battery and single counts of rape of a child aggravated by age difference, assault with intent to rape, reckless endangerment of a child, dissemination of matter harmful to minors, a morals offense, failure to secure a firearm and intimidation of a witness.
