A 2-year-old boy beaten for mispronouncing his sister’s name may lose an eye, according to the Polk County Sheriff’s Office. The child was treated early Wednesday at Winter Haven Hospital for extensive bruising of his face as well as numerous welts from being hit with a clothes hanger his back and buttocks, records state.
