A convicted child rapist has been ordered held on a $500,000 bond on charges that he smothered a five-month-old baby boy in Missoula. Marc Allen Palmer, 25, faces felony deliberate homicide for allegedly suffocating infant Brayden Beal while the child’s mother and Palmer’s mother were sleeping, according to a court affidavit.
