Child Rapist/Teacher Asks To Be Castrated

WILLIMANTIC, CT ( KTLA) — A school teacher from a Willimantic magnet school was given 13 years in prison after being caught having repeated sexual encounters with a 15-year-old student. Adam Friedman, 46, of Newington, received his sentence Thursday after pleading guilty to second-degree sexual assault, risk of injury to a minor, possession of child pornography and violation of conditions of release.

While his crime is severe, the law which goes right and left, with disregard if the the child was a toddler or an almost-adult-teen seems severe too. I think him accepting castration in lieu of a 13 years sentence where he would repeatedly be raped and eventually killed is a bit too much.
