A previously convicted sex offender who was found guilty of raping a child has been sentenced to 40 years in prison with no parole, officials said Monday. James Catreal Moore was wearing an ankle monitor from a previous conviction when he was caught sexually abusing a young girl in November 2012 at a Cordova residence. In April, jurors took less than an hour to convict him of rape of a child and aggravated sexual battery.
