Child killer wants freedom

Duane Edward Taylor has spent most of the past 33 years in prison. Loose on the streets of Kingston for 11 days in 1981, he raped and murdered a two-year-old girl.

Now 49, he wants out of prison again.

“I don’t have any skills but I like animals,” Taylor told two National Parole Board members at a hearing last week in Saskatoon, where he appealed for his freedom.
