A Pennsylvania teenager has been accused of murdering a classmate and posing with the victim’s body for a “selfie,” according to news reports. Authorities say 16-year-old Maxwell Marion Morton of Jeannette, Pa., fatally shot 16-year-old Ryan Mangan in the face before taking a photo with Mangan’s body and uploading it to Snapchat, a smartphone application that allows users to send images that are deleted a few seconds after they’re received.

South African police said Sunday they have discovered the frozen corpses of four newborn babies in freezers at a house in the southern city of Mthatha. Acting on a tip-off, police raided a house on Saturday and made the grim discovery of the infants estimated to be aged between just one and two months. “The babies were found in two freezers,” police spokesman Mzukisi Fatyela told AFP.

Gary Glitter, the former glam rock star, has been convicted of a string of new child sex offences by a jury at Southwark Crown Court. The singer, whose real name is Paul Gadd, aged 70, was convicted of one count of attempted rape, four counts of indecent assault, and one count of sexual intercourse with a girl under the age of 13. The former star, who was found guilty by a jury of five men and seven women, faces a life behind bars after the conviction for a string of historic sexual offences against three young girls.

In a project named Operation DeathEaters, Anonymous says it is is planning on collating evidence against international pedophile rings and their severe abuse of children and find the links between different operations, and to bring them to justice. Anonymous has issued a video instructing activists on how they can aid in the operation, which has appeared at a time of serious allegations of historic child sexual abuse levied against prominent UK figures, including claims that a VIP Westminster pedophile ring existed in the past.

MISSOURI – Four people, three of them members of the victim’s family including his mother, have been arrested for the kidnapping of a six-year-old boy. The suspects claim they were trying to teach the boy about not trusting strangers. The incident took place on Monday in Troy, Missouri, where Lincoln County sheriff’s deputies say the child was lured into a pickup truck by Nathan Firoved, 23, of Jefferson City, Missouri, while he was walking home from school. Once inside the truck, Firoved told him he would never ‘see his mommy again’, and he would be ‘nailed to the wall of a shed.

Dozens of men were yesterday charged with a wide range of sex crimes against vulnerable girls after two separate police investigations. Following a ‘milestone’ operation by Northumbria Police, 20 suspects appeared in court to face charges including rape, sexual assault and sex trafficking. The alleged offences involved 12 victims, including one girl who was aged just 13, with officers vowing to continue their investigation into the abuse of vulnerable children.

Willie Wilson is now facing a murder charge in connection with the death of his missing infant son, Delano Wilson, the Marion County prosecutor’s office says. The latest development comes about five months after the 6-week-old infant disappeared. A probable cause affidavit states that Willie Wilson called 911 at 12:02 p.m., Aug. 27, to report that he had just been robbed and that someone had taken his 6-week-old son.

VANCOUVER, Washington — A Vancouver high school teacher was arrested on child rape charges Tuesday, the school’s principal and police confirmed. Drama and English teacher Stephanie McCrea was arrested on four counts of child rape, Vancouver Police Dept. said. Evergreen High School Principal Lisa Emmerich notified parents about the incident via email. The school district did not provide specific details on the victim, said to be a high school student enrolled in the Evergreen School District.

GULFPORT, MS – Members of the Gulfport Police Narcotics Division encountered a shocking scene Tuesday while serving an arrest warrant at 800 Hardy Avenue. Now, two parents and a grandmother are facing charges of felony child abuse after police say they found two toddler aged children locked in dog kennels inside the home. Gulfport police spokesman Sgt. Damon McDaniel said Patrick Aaron Braddock, 35, Brittany Kay Braddock, 26, and Pamela Diane Davis, 60, are each charged with two counts of felony child abuse.

DETROIT, MI – A 14-year-old boy was arrested for stabbing his brother to death over a soft drink and a snack. The deadly dispute happened Monday night on Grandville on Detroit’s west side. Police say the 14-year-old fatally stabbed his 18-year-old brother over who would get the carbonated fruit punch and chips. The Wayne County Prosecutor’s office is contemplating criminal charges against the boy. He is being held in the Juvenile Detention Facility in Detroit. He is due back in court Feb. 7.

OCALA, Florida – Police arrested a man after they said he tried to circumcise his 1-year-old nephew with a kitchen knife. Larry Floyd was charged with aggravated battery with a deadly weapon Saturday. Police said Floyd was staying at the home where the child and his siblings were being babysat, when the babysitter saw Floyd leave a room where the baby was sleeping.

Pennsylvania – Sayre Borough Police reported the arrest of 23-year-old Athens resident, Jason M. White, on Feb. 1, for several charges related to illegal sexual contact with a child. Police were called by a mother who stated that as she returned to a Sayre Borough residence she heard her child crying upstairs. She stated that she ran upstairs to find the child with his pants off and White was just pulling his pants up. She then grabbed the victim, who told the mother that “Jason” had hurt (the victim).

WHITFIELD COUNTY, Georgia – A Whitfield County man who already on probation is facing serious criminal charges after authorities say he got a 15-year old girl pregnant. Joseph Brock, 36, of Whitfield County is facing one count of aggravated child molestation and statutory rape of a nearby neighbor who is only a teenager. According to the arrest report, the case against Brock began when a 16-year old was taken to a local hospital by her parents. Doctors reportedly told the parents the girl was 5-months pregnant which meant she was impregnated when she was only 15.
