PONTIAC, Michigan – Oakland County Sheriff’s deputies are investigating a possible case of child abuse in Pontiac after the death of a 7-month-old boy. The investigation into the death of 7-month-old Aiden Logan was put on hold today so he might give life to another baby. His autopsy was delayed so his organs could be harvested. Something went terribly wrong on Wednesday night inside his aunt’s house in Pontiac.

ALABAMA — A married teacher has been charged with sexual abuse. Leah Garmany of Centre, Alabama was arrested on Friday for second-degree sexual abuse and electronic solicitation of a child. Garmany is employed as a kindergarten teacher at Centre Elementary.District superintendent Mitchell Guice told the Rome News-Tribune that Garmany remains an employee at the school as of Friday afternoon.

The unspeakably twisted world of a bankrupt Australian businessman is unraveling after he moved to the Philippines and allegedly lured innocent children into his home – and has now been implicated in a child’s death. Peter Gerald Scully, from Melbourne, was charged last year with human trafficking and child porn-related offences arising from his alleged sexual abuse of Filipino girls which was filmed and then posted online for paying clients. The 51-year-old managed to avoid being arrested until February 20 this year before a former partner told police that Scully had killed one of his child victims in 2013. It was after this shocking revelation that the remains of a 10-year-old girl were found at a home formerly rented by Scully in Malaybalay, Bukidnon.

Vincent Phillips, age given as 52, was doused with a flammable liquid, by this wife, whom then lit match and ignited him while he slept. Sounds serious, yes? Well, even more seriously, Vincent Phillips, the woman’s husband, is facing 1st-Degree Child Molestation charges for allegedly harming his 7-year-old step-daughter. The question is being raised, “What should happen to the woman who took the law into her own capable hands?” Doubtlessly, this matter will be soon presented to a court of law.

PLAINVILLE, Massachusetts — A Plainville teenager has been charged with involuntary manslaughter in her former boyfriend’s suicide. Officials say 18-year-old Michelle Carter encouraged her former boyfriend, 18-year-old Conrad Roy, to commit suicide. Just weeks later, in July he drove to a Fairhaven Kmart parking lot, filled his truck with carbon monoxide and took his own life.

Caitlin Prater-Haacke is a high school student in Alberta, Canada, who was recently the victim of a bullying incident. Someone broke into her locker in late September of this year and wrote a Facebook status using her iPad that encouraged her to die. It’s hard to imagine that those words were an easy pill to swallow, but Caitlin responded with nothing but grace and maturity. Watch the video to see what she does in response.

An argument on Facebook took a ghastly turn of events when it ended in gunfire that killed 14 year old Kierra’onna Rice. The online Facebook brawl between two groups of friends spilled out into the streets with a fistfight and later ended in gunfire that killed a 14-year-old girl and wounded two others in Alabama on Friday, authorities said. The fistfight between the girls was to be recorded for posting online according to the police.

KENT — A 35-year-old man likely faces charges of kidnapping and sex abuse after he befriended a 12-year-old girl on Facebook, picked her up from school and dropped her off hours later at a friend’s house following a probable assault, sheriff’s deputies say. On Jan. 30, the suspect drove his van to Meeker Middle School in Renton and picked up the 12-year-old he had messaged over Facebook, King County sheriff’s deputies say. Shortly after school was over, the girl’s mother called police and reported her child missing when she didn’t come home.

The Orangeburg County Sheriff was alerted to a video shared on Facebook depicting a toddler performing a sexual act on an Orangeburg teenage girl. The report from Orangeburg County Sheriff Leroy Ravenell says that a number of area law enforcement agencies received calls regarding the video. Orangeburg Deputies followed up on a tip from one concerned citizen that provided the identity of the teen and location of the incident, and did place the 14-year-old girl under arrest for criminal sexual conduct with a minor. Sheriff Deputies say the video was recorded by the girl, and then sent to a male friend.

ST. PAUL, Minnesota — A woman is charged with murder after police say she held her young daughter under water in a bathtub and drowned her two days before Christmas. Officers were dispatched to an apartment complex shortly after 8 a.m. Tuesday on reports of a 6-year-old who had drowned in a bathtub. When squads arrived they found a female later identified as the child’s mother standing by a fire truck. When they approached her the woman, 25-year-old Kayla Marie Jones, threw her hands up in the air as if she was surrendering. As an officer arrested Jones and put her in the back of a squad car, she noticed the suspect’s clothes were soaking wet.

LIBERTY, Missouri – A little boy says he was beat up so badly at school that police had to be called. His mom says she’s now scared for both her kids and the response from viewers has been incredible. The Kitchen family sends two boys to school at Liberty Middle School. There are anti-bullying signs everywhere, they said, but that wasn’t enough to stop what happened to their youngest son. Blake Kitchen, 12, has been through a lot this week. He won’t be in school for a while after an assault last Thursday landed him in the hospital for five days.

HARRIS COUNTY, Texas – A mother accused of brutally stabbing her 4-year-old son outside a northwest Harris County home is behind bars while her son is fighting for his life. Jenea Mungia is charged with felony injury to a child. The attack happened at a home in the 14900 block of James River at Arcadian Shores Drive.
