Guam – Officers from the Guam Police Department’S Hagatna Precinct arrested a 38-year old man Thursday on multiple charges of Criminal Sexual Conduct.
According to a release from G.P.D., Alvin Gerald Naputi San Nicolas of Chalan Pago faces charges of 1st Degree Criminal Sexual Conduct, 2nd Degree Criminal Sexual Conduct, Child Abuse, Felonious Restraint and Family Violence.

CPS investigated murder suspect just months before 6-yr old stepson’s death

A man facing a murder charge in connection with death of his 6-year-old stepson had been investigated by Child Protective Services on child-abuse allegations as far back as December, officials said.

CPS spokesman Steve Meissner said the state agency is conducting an investigation with local authorities against Koffi A. Dogbevi, 23, who is accused of beating Michael Ibarra on Aug. 3.

A 30-year-old father told police he and his 4-year-old son often play rough, including slapping each other in the face.

But police charged Tavoris Doshaun McNeil of 212 S. Skyland Drive with misdemeanor child abuse Thursday after the boy had bruising on his ear, according to a warrant affidavit.

Father arrested in death of 3-yr old son

TAMPA – On the day a 3-year-old boy died, his father had struck him several times and pulled a chair out from under him, causing the boy to strike the floor with a “thud,” investigators said.

John Taylor Baxley died soon after being transported to St. Joseph’s Hospital.

His father, 26-year-old Justin Garwacki, was arrested Wednesday on charges of aggravated child abuse, child abuse, child neglect and failing to report neglect of a child. Garwacki’s girlfriend, 21-year-old Kara O’Connell, was arrested on the same charges.

An assistant principal at L.C. Swain Middle School in Greenacres is charged with two counts of child abuse after his teen son and daughter claimed he whipped and beat them in February, reports show.

Charles Anthony Plummer, 42, of Royal Palm Beach, was arrested Thursday evening.

9 children allege neighborhood adults abused them

The Orcutt neighborhood where as many as nine children were allegedly abused by two adults was quiet Thursday.

There was no evidence of what court records say were years of abuse by foster parent Bertha Savoy, 71, and her nephew, Duane James, 38, who live next door to each other in modest two-story homes in a middle-class neighborhood.

8-yr old boy shoots his 6-yr old brother

ELMA – Officials say the boy that was shot in the head by his 8 year old brother is now dead.

The boy, identified as Jacob Banks, died Thursday night from injuries he sustained during the shooting.
Investigators say the 6-year-old was shot by his 8-year-old brother. Police say he found the gun in a locked safe at his house in Mason County.

MEDINA, Ohio – A little girl is dead and another is in critical condition at a Medina hospital after the children were found in a hot car, Fox 8’s Stacey Frey reports.

A spokesperson for the Medina County Sheriff’s Office tells Fox 8 News that, while their parents worked the concession stand at the fair, the girls were being cared for by a 13-year-old cousin and her 12-year-old friend.

One of the victims, Rebekah Toia, was a bright, attractive, 15-year-old Northwest Side girl with lots of friends. She was an honor student at Whitney Young High School, a softball player and loved writing fantasy stories and poetry.

THIBODAUX, La. – And here I thought we were gonna get through the day with no real bad news. A Lafourche Deputy assigned to the Lafourche Parish Detention Center has been arrested, accused of raping a six-year-old relative. The girl went to a teacher and told them that David Lewellen, 33, had been sexually assaulting her. After his arrest, investigators claim Lewellen confessed to the charges.

San Diego, Cali. – When Sharrel Blankenbaker and her three grandchildren walked out of a Texas gas station they were followed by 58-year-old Gary Carner. They were unaware that 10 minutes earlier, he had attempted to abduct a store clerk from a nearby truck stop. Carner would produce a gun and try to force 12-year-old Cassidy Blankenbaker into his truck but she refused and began yelling for help. That’s when Sharrel began fighting with Carner ordering him to let her granddaughter go. He did, but he also shot Sharrel in the back.

WAYNE COUNTY, W.Va. — Lisa Witt, 21, has been arrested and charged with child abuse after admitting that on two separate occasions she jerked her 3 1/2 month old son’s legs hard enough that she heard them crack. In both cases, she never took the infant to get medical treatment. In one case Witt admitted she was angry with her husband while changing the baby’s diaper.

Dreamcatchers for Abused Children is proud to announce their two leading ladies; Sandra Dawn Potter and Donna Kshir have been invited by Benford Standley, to attend The State and Fate of Children in Paso Robles, California, in November.

The Paso Robles Digital Film Festival is a Salute To Children and Youth, across the United States. The PDFF strides to shed light on the darkness that children suffer in, and honor those who expose the truth. The PDFF wants to honor some of the great people that dedicates their time, energy and life to cover these concerns on film, television and the Internet.

Potter and Kshir are well known for their work and dedication to fighting for children’s rights. During their quest, the duo co-wrote several books in hopes of educating the public on the signs, symptoms, prevention and recovery of child abuse. To show their support, the writing duo recently dedicated, “Extraordinary Confessions of Child Abuse” to The State and Fate of Children, The Pas Robles Film Festival and their non-profit organization, Dreamcatchers for Abused Children. For each book purchased a donation will be made to Standley and Potter’s cause.
