The body of a missing five-year-old has been found after his adult brother was arrested for killing him and his mother and dumping their baby brother in a dumpster. Authorities said that Josue Ramirez-Marinero’s body was found stuck in tree branches on the east bank of the Elkhorn River in Omaha, Nebraska on Monday morning. His older brother, Roberto Martinez-Marinero, told cops last week that he’d thrown the boy off a bridge into the water about a mile upstream from where the body was eventually discovered. At 11:30am on Monday, Omaha Fire Department divers recovered the body.

A Mexican couple have been arrested and accused of forcing their own 12-year-old daughter to have sex with a stranger while the mother filmed the rapes. Lorena Isela Cortinas and the girl’s father, Ricardo Navarro Allende, are said to have subsequently attempted to sell the tapes to a pedophile ring in their home town of Ciudad Juarez, Chihuahua. In an attempt to defend their behavior, Cortinas reportedly claimed that she and her husband had allowed the man to rape their daughter because he promised to buy them a new house and van.

He was convicted in 1987 for raping a child in Massachusetts and spent more than 20 years in prison.

OREGON CITY, Oregon — A 37-year-old babysitter was arrested Wednesday in the death of a 7-month-old who was in her care earlier this month, Oregon City Police Dept. said. Sarah Elizabeth Martin was arrested around 4:30 p.m. near her mother’s home in Oregon City. She was taken to Clackamas County Jail on first-degree manslaughter charges. She was later released after someone posted the legal minimum of 10% of her $250,000 bail.

JERSEY SHORE, Pennsylvania — A man said he was mimicking a professional wrestling move when he inadvertently slammed his girlfriend’s toddler to the floor, causing head injuries that killed the boy, police said. Brandon Hoffman, 20, was charged Wednesday with involuntary manslaughter, endangering the welfare of a child, aggravated assault and other offenses in the death of 18-month-old Bryson Shoemaker.

BARTLESVILLE — A 27-year-old Bartlesville woman was arraigned Monday on a charge of child neglect following an investigation into the death of a 3-month-old girl whose lifeless body became food for roaches, according to authorities. Brittany Cherokee Dawn Bell appeared in Washington County District Court via video monitor from the jail. Her bond was set at $10,000, and Associate District Judge Russell Vaclaw scheduled a May 8 hearing.

PHOENIX, Arizona – A teacher at Longview Elementary School in Phoenix is accused of sexual conduct with a 12-year-old student, according to court records. Kenne Michael Worthen, 27, is facing charges of luring a minor for sexual exploitation, child molestation and sexual conduct with a minor. He was arrested at the school on Friday afternoon. The investigation began after the victim’s classmates told a teacher they believed the victim and Worthen were having inappropriate conversations.

A ten-year-old girl in Paraguay who fell pregnant after allegedly being raped by her stepfather has been refused an abortion. The girl was taken to hospital by her mother after complaining about stomach cramps, and doctors found that she was 21 weeks pregnant. Termination is illegal in Paraguay, even in cases of incest and rape, and the girl has instead been moved to a ‘young mothers’ home’, and her mother arrested over the alleged rape.
