Janelle Foley pleaded guilty to four counts of rape of a child on Wednesday, according to the Norfolk County District Attorney’s office. A trial was set to begin this week. Foley was indicted in March 2014 and charged with raping a 15-year-old boy, who authorities said was not a student at Chapman Middle School where Foley worked at the time the crimes occurred. The mother of four was accused of sexually assaulting the victim during parties at his family’s home.

Officer Sean Murphy of the Elkton Police Department started his investigation on Monday. Agents from Child Protective Services had contacted his agency and alleged that physical child abuse had been occurring inside a residence in the 100 block of Huntsman Drive, according to police.

A judge has cleared the way for a New Mexico teenager who shot and killed his parents and three younger siblings to be sentenced as a juvenile and released from state custody by the time he turns 21 after the teen’s attorneys argued he could be psychologically rehabilitated. Nehemiah Griego was 15 when he opened fire in his family’s home south of Albuquerque, killing his mother as she slept and then his nine-year-old brother and two sisters, ages five and two, authorities said. Griego’s father was the last to die in the family. The teen waited in a bathroom and ambushed the gang member turned pastor after he returned home, sheriff’s officials said.

Jamala Monroe, 28, and Zicole Monroe, 22, were each arrested last week, accused of abusing a 14-year-old girl. The alleged acts, taking place in an apartment off of N. Macarthur. With more complaints brought forward on Thursday, their jail registry now reads like a horror story. The alleged pattern of assault seems to have spanned months. “A total of 137 counts of sexual abuse of a child were added to both people,” said MSgt. Gary Knight with Oklahoma City Police.

IOWA – A boarding school for troubled teenagers in Iowa that is being investigated by the FBI routinely kept pupils in small concrete ‘isolation boxes’ for days or weeks and wouldn’t let them out unless they sat in a specific posture for 24 hours, according to several former students. Six former students recently described the abuse they say they suffered while attending Midwest Academy in Keokuk, a city along the Mississippi River where Iowa borders Illinois and Missouri. They said the dark, cell-like punishment rooms were often filled with the sounds of students’ screams and motivational recordings piped in through speakers. Surveillance cameras and staff members kept watch.

Male Partners of Women Who Are Survivors of Childhood Sexual Abuse Needed for Dissertation Research. I am Tonya Thomas, a doctoral candidate in the Couple and Family Therapy program at Alliant International University currently completing my dissertation under the supervision of Dr. Alba Nino. I am conducting a study about the therapeutic needs of male partners of women who are survivors of childhood sexual abuse. Participants in this study will be asked to share information about their experiences while in couple’s therapy with the survivor of childhood sexual abuse. This study has been approved by the Alliant International University Institutional Review Board (IRB).

I am writing to ask if you would kindly share the attached flier with others who may be interested in participating in my study, or who may have contact with potential participants. This study is focused as you will see on the partner’s experience of conjoint/couples therapy, and not on the sexual abuse survivor.

Vatican: Catholic Bishops Not Required to Report Child Abuse

The Catholic church has issued a new directive instructing bishops to deal with accusations of clerical child abuse internally and “not necessarily” report it to the police. According to The Guardian, the training document that was recently released by the Vatican says that only victims or their families should make the decision to report abuse to police. “According to the state of civil laws of each country where reporting is obligatory, it is not necessarily the duty of the bishop to report suspects to authorities, the police or state prosecutors in the moment when they are made aware of crimes or sinful deeds,” the training document states.

Missing 3-YO Found Dead

MISSOURI – After hours of searching, Missouri officers have confirmed the death of 3-year-old Titus Tackett. The parents reported the child missing shortly after midnight Wednesday morning.Officers and volunteers in the area searched for the boy. Police haven’t said if Titus wandered off or was abducted.

James VanCallis Found GUILTY

Macomb County, MI – After deliberating for six hours, a jury has found James VanCallis guilty of first-degree murder in the death of Armada teen April Millsap. He was found guilty on all four charges, including first-degree murder; felony murder; kidnapping; and assault with intent to commit sexual penetration. His sentencing date is scheduled for March 30, 2016. Prosecutors argued that VanCallis hit the girl with his motorcycle helmet then stomped on her neck along the Macomb Orchard Trail back in July of 2014.

Man Sentenced to 220-Years

A 37-year-old Palmdale man was sentenced Friday to 220 years to life in state prison for sexually assaulting three children in his family over a period of 18 years, the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office announced. Richard Edward Ray was convicted on Dec. 9, 2015, of a total of 17 felony counts in connection with the abuse that spanned from 1996 to 2014, the DA’s office stated in a news release.

Man Charged With Child Sex Abuse, Rape, Sodomy

Madison County authorities said Friday an Internet child pornography investigation turned into a child sex abuse case that landed a Decatur man behind bars. David Lamar Camp, 64, was booked into the Madison County Jail Thursday afternoon. He is charged with two counts of sexually abusing a child under 12, two counts of first-degree rape and one count of first-degree sodomy.
