A well-known Oklahoma pastor has been jailed in the Philippines after being accused with child molestation and trying to cover up a sex abuse problem among orphanages he runs in the country. Almost 20,000 people have joined a Facebook page pleading for the release of Pastor Tom Randall. Prosecutors have yet to file charges, but also jailed two of his colleagues in the country. They could be put to death if convicted. Mr Randall is known most widely as the PGA Champions Tour minister, but also for running several charities and touring the world with his missionary basketball teams, according to his ministry’s website.

Two Florida teacher’s aides were hauled to jail Friday after witnessing what cell phone video reveals was the brutal beating of a boy in a special education classroom. Authorities say Mona Sagar, 59, and Kristie Gilmore, 38, stood idly by January 9 at Discovery Intermediate School and are now charged with child neglect for reportedly not even picking up the cell phones or radios they had handy to call for help. Also arrested were three students–two boys and a girl–from the Poinciana classroom who are charged with aggravated assault and disrupting a school function.

An Oklahoma couple have been arrested and charged with child neglect after their newborn twin boys landed in the hospital with horrific injuries. According to police in Tulsa, Clorinda ‘Chloe’ Archuleta, 24, waited several days before seeking medical attention for the injured infants, and then she only took one of the boys to the hospital. Archuleta’s boyfriend, 24-year-old Joshua Wray, is also facing charges in connection to the alleged child abuse.

A notorious fugitive who’s been evading authorities since 1998, when he faked his own death just before his trial on child sex-abuse charges, has been captured in Montana. Daniel Clement Chafe, 55, was taken into custody Wednesday in Bozeman where he had been living under a different name, Lieutenant Gregg Hastings said. Chafe had been living in a city near Bozeman where he owned a computer business and used the alias Gwydyn Stryder Styarfyr.

The devastated family of toddler Elijah Nealey who was suffocated by his babysitter two years ago has slammed her five-year prison sentence as ‘an insult’. Jessica Fraraccio, 22, pleaded guilty in October to killing the 23-month-old boy in his Virginia home. Even though Mark and Jennifer Nealeyunderstood nothing could bring back their beloved son, the grieving couple hoped for a five-decade prison sentence.

RUSTBURG, VA – A Virginia woman and two others have been charged with malicious wounding and child abuse after her two children were tattooed and attempts were then made to remove the tattoos. Media outlets report 35-year-old Melissa Delp and her 32-year-old boyfriend, Daniel Janney, were charged Friday. According to a search warrant, the pair was charged after Janney attempted to remove the tattoos from Delp’s daughters with a hot razor blade at their Concord home.

FLINT — A substitute teacher in Flint is facing 15 counts of assault and battery after being accused of putting duct tape on the mouths of 16 children. Police officials began to investigate when they received reports that the substitute teacher had, on multiple occasions, put duct tape on the mouths of students at Brownell STEM Academy.

PHILADELPHIA – Police have arrested the person who shot two students Friday at a school in the Logan section of the city, but they have not recovered the gun. After a search that lasted about an hour, Philadelphia police arrested the shooter, also a student, at his home in Grays Ferry located about 11 miles away from the school. Authorities said the 15-year-old victims – one male and one female – were shot in the arm while inside the Delaware Valley Charter High School gym around 3:30 p.m. They were in stable condition at Albert Einstein Medical Center, a block away from the school. The female patient was released from the hospital around 6 p.m.

The investigation into the disappearance of Mikaeel Kular has been wide-ranging and fast moving. As a result of enquiries the body of a young child was recovered in Fife just before midnight. We strongly believe this to be the body of Mikaeel. A person has been detained in connection with the recovery of the body and members of Mikaeel’s family have been informed of the recovery.

An 18-year-old mother has been arrested after her 2-year-old son was found wandering outside her Alabama home while clutching a suicide note written by his mother. A frantic search for the boy’s mother Saturday ended in woods near the family’s home where Katie Renea Halbert was arrested for child endangerment, according to the Etowah County Sheriff’s Office.

Authorities say a 34-year-old Utah police officer fatally shot his wife, mother-in-law and two young children before taking his own life. Spanish Fork police say they went to Joshua Boren’s house about 11 p.m. Thursday after he didn’t show up to his night shift at the Lindon Police Department. That’s when they found Boren’s 55-year-old mother-in-law Marie King dead in a bedroom, and Joshua Boren’s immediately family dead in the bedroom next door.
