DELAWARE, Ohio — For years, Heather Orr’s dad sexually abused her, telling her he was “teaching her” how to express love. For years, in both Delaware County and Arizona, her family tried to keep her quiet. By the time Arizona authorities put her father, Frank K.C. Hertel on trial, Orr was 18 and struggling to deal with abuse that started when she was 3. But before the trial began, Hertel vanished.

A married couple who held their own toddlers down and raped them have managed to avoid spending the rest of their lives in prison for their disgusting crimes. Syracuse native Ronald Clark, 33, was given the maximum sentence of 27-29 years in prison for two counts of rape and possessing child pornography, but the judge in the case made it clear that he would impose a longer sentence if possible. His wife Sierra Clark, who held the two toddlers down while he raped them, is currently locked up will soon receive her sentence for rape and sex abuse charges.

TIGARD, OREGON – Tigard police are asking for your help tracking down a man accused of raping a child. A Washington County grand jury recently indicted David Pasiemiak for multiple sex crimes. Once he’s caught, his bail will be set at more than $3 million.

EAST BRIDGEWATER, Mass. —A judge has ordered a 65-year-old East Bridgewater man charged with child rape to stay away from children and wear an electronic monitoring device. The Enterprise reported George Collins, 65, of 14 Folsom Ave., East Bridgewater, was released on those conditions following his arraignment Tuesday in Taunton District Court, according to the clerk’s office.

Douglasville, GA — A tiny infant is hospitalized, his father facing charges, after what officials call a brutal case of child abuse. “Unfortunately, as long as I’ve been doing this, I have seen cases like this,” said Capt. Bruce Ferguson at the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office. “But hopefully, I won’t see another one.” Ferguson said the abuse took place happened three times over the past few weeks. Each episode was brutal, according to doctors treating the infant. Kirk Mitchell, 23, has reportedly confessed to squeezing and shaking the five-week old infant so hard he fractured the baby’s ribs, fractured his skull and caused the child to bleed from several places.

Two Tulsa women were convicted Thursday of the child-abuse murder and neglect of a 19-month-old boy. Jazmin Williams and Mica Shoate, both 24, were charged in the March 2012 beating death of Zamontay Green. A police officer found the toddler fatally injured in a car during a traffic stop. He died of blunt force trauma to the head.

OKLAHOMA CITY – Police have arrested a 68-year-old Oklahoma City man accused of going to his mailbox naked and other disturbing acts in his front yard. Officials said a mother driving her children to piano lessons first called police to report the naked man in a front yard on the 8300 block of N.W. 112th Terr. near N. Council Rd. and W. Hefner Rd. The mother told police her 6-year-old daughter, 10-year-old daughter and 12-year-old son all saw the alleged nude man and were the ones who brought him to her attention.

The mother of James Bulger has been abused on Twitter by someone posing as her child’s killer Jon Venables. Detectives on Merseyside are investigating after an account was set up to crow to Denise Fergus about her toddler’s brutal murder in 1993. Using the name @SirJVenables the troll also wrote vile messages about harboring a desire to kill more children, but has since been suspended by Twitter after an online campaign. The offensive account used the chilling CCTV image of James Bulger being led to his death by Venables and friend Robert Thompson, who were were jailed for eight years for sadistically killing the two-year-old when they were 10.

A sex abuse victim has revealed how her pedophile stepfather abused her from the age of nine and her mother still does not believe she was indecently assaulted. Jemma Sanders, 28, suffered at the hands of Christopher Gibson for six years and has waived her right to anonymity so she can help fight child abuse. Gibson was convicted of ten charges of indecent assault earlier this month and jailed for eight years but Miss Sanders’ estranged mother Debbie has refused to accept his guilt.

“Help us — our mom is trying to kill us!” a young child screamed as a pregnant woman drove her minivan — with three young kids children inside — into the ocean in Florida, a trucker who waded into the frigid Atlantic waters to rescue them said Wednesday. Tim Tesseneer, a truck driver and former volunteer firefighter visiting from North Carolina, was one of the first men to reach the van Tuesday in the heavy surf. He and other passersby dived in to pull the children — two girls and a boy, ages 3, 9 and 10 — to safety through a window and a hatchback.

The problem of child neglect and abuse is personal for country singer Jimmy Wayne. His mother was in and out of prison, so from age 8, Wayne was in and out of North Carolina’s foster-care system. When he was 13, his mom and her fifth husband abandoned him in a Pensacola, Fla., parking lot. At age 16, he was a homeless high school dropout. An elderly couple took him in — saved him, he says — and he survived. Now he travels the country as an advocate for agencies, programs and policies that help other kids do the same.

GRAND PRAIRIE – A 49-year-old Grand Prairie man was sentenced to 60 years in prison without parole for repeatedly sexually abusing a young relative. Jurors deliberated just 10 minutes on Wednesday before convicting Timothy Earl Wesley of continuous sexual abuse of a child under 14 — a charge that carries no possibility for parole. Wesley elected to have his punishment assessed by state district Judge Louis Sturns, who sentenced him to the 60- year term.

PALM BAY, Fla. —A Palm Bay High School teacher is accused of taking part in a child abuse case that involved forcing a young girl to undress in front of adult men while they forced her to consume alcohol. According to police, Jason John Burchfield would visit a house in Satellite Beach where a girl, who is under the age of 14, was forced to undress in front of men and drink alcohol, including vodka, on at least three separate occasions.

A mother suffering from post-natal depression drowned her baby then dumped the body in a factory car park behind her home, a court heard today. Amy Black, 40, snapped after a sleepless night with seven-month-old daughter Zoe, who had been crying constantly because of ear pain. Nottingham Crown Court was shown CCTV of Black climbing a makeshift ladder and tipping the baby’s body over an eight foot fence and into undergrowth.
