VOLUSIA COUNTY, Florida – A man accused of molesting children is facing additional charges after more victims stepped forward, according to the Volusia County Sheriff’s Office. Michael McCabe, 47, of Port Orange, was arrested March 4 after four victims told deputies that McCabe had inappropriately touched them. Deputies said at the time that there could possibly be more victims, because McCabe would befriend families in need and to earn their trust before moving in to gain access to their children.

Woman Allowed Man to Rape Two Children

Junius, N.Y. – A man and woman in Seneca County were arrested on child sex abuse charges after an investigation into child rape allegations. According to the Seneca County Sheriff’s Office, 32-year-old Jacqueline Cady and 46-year-old James Mahaney were arrested Thursday after deputies investigated claims that Cady had allowed Mahaney to rape a young child. Seneca County Child Protection Services and the Child Advocacy Center of the Finger Lakes worked with deputies on this case.

Couple Charged In Deadly Case of Child Abuse

MARSHFIELD, Missouri – A couple from Webster County face charges in a deadly case of child abuse. Jennifer Bolin and Michael Perrin are accused of punishing Bolin’s two toddlers by binding them tight in their bed sheets so they couldn’t move. One of the children — an 18 month old girl — died of suffocation. Court documents say Perrin swaddled the kids because they wouldn’t take a nap, and he admitted he may have done it too tight. If convicted, both Bolin and Perrin face life sentences.

Mom Accused of Killing Sons

MARTINSBURG, West Virginia – A woman jailed on murder charges in West Virginia on Thursday is accused of setting fire to the beds of her two young sons as her husband slept. A criminal complaint says Molly Joe Delgado of Falling Waters locked her family inside their trailer home and walked off with the key after starting the fire. Delgado, 29, was arrested Wednesday, six weeks after her children were killed, after Assistant State Fire Marshal George Harms said she confessed to the arson on the night of Jan. 24. The complaint says Delgado secured the front door from the outside and went across the street to her mother’s home.

Couple Convicted of 94 Rape, Abuse and Drug Charges

A husband and wife who drugged children with crack cocaine and used one boy as a human dartboard have been convicted of nearly 100 offences. Nicholas Taylor, 47, and Joan Taylor, 44, subjected ten youngsters to a campaign of shocking abuse before getting them hooked on class A drugs to make them ‘more compliant’ before sexually assaulting them. When police raided their home in Northampton they also found a baseball bat under the bed which they used to threaten their child victims. The bat was inscribed with the words ‘The Pain’. The couple was found guilty after a seven week trial at Leicester Crown Court of nearly 100 offences committed against 11 victims between 1996 and 2006.

TLC’s reality star, Toby Willis, has denied four charges of child rape which he was arraigned for on Monday in Tennessee. The 46-year-old was arrested in October for allegedly raping a nine or ten-year-old girl 12 years ago. He initially faced a single count of child rape but the charge has been quadrupled. Officials would not address whether the charges relate to one girl or if they believe he had several victims on Thursday. Willis’s formal plea hearing will be held on July 11 and his trial has been set for the following week in Ashland City, Tennessee, in July. Willis was one of the stars of The Willis Family, a now canceled TLC show which followed his country music-singing brood.

Steve Penny resigned as president of USA Gymnastics on Thursday following intensified pressure on the organization for its handling of sex abuse cases. The resignation came a week after the United States Olympic Committee’s board recommended to USA Gymnastics chairman Paul Parilla that Penny should step down. Penny offered his resignation during a previously scheduled board meeting on Thursday. “My decision to step aside as CEO is solely to support the best interests of USA Gymnastics at this time,” Penny said in a statement.

A 42-year-old Australia man who allegedly pretended to be Justin Bieber on social media in order to lure children into sex has been charged with 931 child sex offenses after detectives allegedly uncovered evidence on his computer. Queensland police appealed for “extra vigilance” among young fans of pop star Justin Bieber, best known for his 2010 hit son “Baby,” after laying hundreds of charges against a man pretending to be the star online. Specifically, the man is accused of tricking young victims from overseas into sending him explicit images

Ex-University Coach Faces 261 Child Sex Charges

PENNSYLVANIA – Former Life University wrestling coach Ron Gorman faces 261 child sex charges, including 36 counts of child rape. Gorman, 51, is from Pennsylvania. He once worked there as a youth wrestling coach. The alleged incidents date to 2006 and involve multiple children, records show. One, a former athlete who is now 20 years old, told police he was 10 when the alleged abuse began. He said he was 15 when it ended.

British police are warning parents about the dangers of a sick social media ‘game’ that’s said to be responsible for hundreds of teenage suicides in Russia. The ‘Blue Whale challenge’ encourages at-risk participants to take part in a series of tasks like cutting themselves every day for 50 days. They are then instructed to kill themselves on the final day of the sick ‘challenge’.

Foster Parents Face 300 Charges

FLORIDA – A couple have been charged with more than 300 counts each of child sex abuse involving 11 biological, adopted and foster children, some younger than 12. Daniel Spurgeon, 47, and his 52-year-old wife, Jenise Spurgeon, were arrested in Cape Coral, Florida, on outstanding warrants stemming from an ongoing investigation into allegations of sexual abuse in Florence, Alabama, where the couple had lived years earlier. According to the Florence Police Department, in July 2016, detectives in Alabama were contacted by their counterparts in Florida about abuse allegation involving the Spurgeons and 10 of their children, which sparked an investigation into their past conduct.

Man Accused of Molesting Over 80 Boys

A Swiss man will go on trial this month on allegations he sexually abused more than 80 boys — some as young as nine — in Thailand. The unnamed man is accused of taking thousands of pornographic pictures of the boys, molesting some of them and pushing some into prostitution, prosecutors in the western Swiss canton of Fribourg said in a statement. The abuse is alleged to have taken place since 2001. The man will go before the Gruyere criminal court on charges of human trafficking, encouraging prostitution, sexual acts with children and child pornography, prosecutors said.

Mass Grave Of Children Found

A mass grave containing the remains of babies and young children has been discovered at a former Catholic home for unmarried mothers and their children in Ireland, an official report revealed today. The remains were found in a disused sewer during excavations at the Bon Secours Mother and Baby Home in Tuam, County Galway. The ages of the dead ranged from 35 foetal weeks to three years old and were mostly buried in the 1950s.
