Chief recommends firing officer who beat 15-yr old teen

Indianapolis – UPDATE: Following an internal investigation into excessive force allegations against a 15 year-old boy, Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Chief Paul Ciesielski said he has recommended that an officer be terminated for his role in the beating of Brandon Johnson.
“This morning I met with officer Piland and terminated his employment with IMPD,” says Chief Paul Ciesielski at a news conference.
