https://www.infoturismiamoci.com/2025/03/l5chb3tn

This FACEBOOK page was made as a vigil for Lily. She is missed by the many who knew her or her family, and even the ones who didn’t. She was a beautiful 2.5 year old girl whose life was cut short for reasons unknown. Help us get justice for this little girl. No mother should have to bury her child.

https://www.varesewedding.com/0fw78pma5ua Lily Lynette Furneaux passed away on November 20, 2010 while in the care of her step mother. The step mother is currently being held in the Macomb County Jail without bond. She has been charged with murder, child abuse and criminal sexual conduct.

If you would like to make a donation to Justice for Lily the address is: P.O. Box 312 Metamora MI 48455. This is also the address in which you can send money for shirts and wristbands, in order to have them shipped to you. Please remember there is a charge for shipping.

Grandparents Rights, Adoption

Posted by Sandra On January - 30 - 2011 ADD COMMENTS

https://www.onoranzefunebriurbino.com/w2qm5rxq7p In the USA today grandparents have no legal rights to have any contact with a child once parental rights have been terminated. In fact, the law specifically states that if the parental rights are removed, the rights of the grandparents are removed along with them. This leaves many children raised by their grandparents from infancy, with no legal grandparents or any other relative with any rights to bring them up. One brave and determined grandparent from South Carolina, John Schafer, has decided that this is one law that must be changed. Outraged by the way loving grandparents are treated, he has single-handedly taken on the South Carolina State Representatives and Senators. Taking remarkable steps, he has began to make changes that could effectively change the way we view adoption forever.

Child Trafficking & Exploitation

Posted by Sandra On January - 26 - 2011 ADD COMMENTS

Zolpidem Buy Online Uk Trafficking is a violation of fundamental rights. Trafficking in children is a global problem affecting large numbers of children. Some estimates have as many as 1.2 million children being trafficked every year. There is a demand for trafficked children as cheap labour or for sexual exploitation. Children and their families are often unaware of the dangers of trafficking, believing that better employment and lives lie in other countries.

https://www.tomolpack.com/2025/03/11/7jpgwnh Child trafficking is lucrative and linked with criminal activity and corruption. It is often hidden and hard to address. Trafficking always violates the child’s right to grow up in a family environment. In addition, children who have been trafficked face a range of dangers, including violence and sexual abuse. Trafficked children are even arrested and detained as illegal aliens.

Protecting Kids From Pedophiles

Posted by Sandra On January - 24 - 2011 2 COMMENTS

Ambien By Mail Order What has prompted me to write this piece is the current increasing rate at which the media is reporting cases of pedophilia on a daily basis. Like armed robbery, the situation seems to be out of control. The flood of reports could almost make you think that everyone who sexually abuses a child is mad. Teachers, carpenters, masons, drivers, farmers, truck-pushers, men of God and even chiefs are, on a daily basis, reported to have defiled or abused a child across the country. Of course, many of such dangerous monsters are sex maniacs but it is also true that some of them are sane and deliberately abuse these kids out of lust.

Single Moms, BF’s, Dead Kids

Single moms, boyfriends and dead kids:

This newspaper is never lacking for stomach-turning, gut-churning, heartbreaking crime stories. But none flips my outrage switch faster than a report about some mother’s boyfriend abusing and killing her kid. Whom do you judge more harshly, the monster who tortures and batters a small child, or the mom who stupidly left her little one in the care of some cretin she just met? As a parent, I really don’t know. It’s never more than a few months until the next horror story is reported — in Southern Nevada or anywhere else.

This fact sheet initiates new public service from Prevent Child Abuse America that has been made possible through a grant from the Sigma Delta Tau Sorority. Fact sheets will be issued periodically on a variety of subjects as needs arise. Fact sheets may be reproduced without notice to NCPCA; however, we request that the author, if any, and Prevent Child Abuse America be credited as the source if reproduced in part or in whole in other publications or products.

How much a society values its children can be measured by how well their children are treated. The fact that more than three children a day die from physical abuse or chronic neglect in the United States calls into question America’s commitment to its young, especially as many of these deaths are preventable. The fact sheet provides information on child maltreatment fatalities including: 1) national statistics regarding the scope of the problem, 2) the relationship between fatalities and child abuse reports, 3) the underlying causes of child abuse fatalities, and 4) strategies for child welfare agencies and others to prevent future deaths.

Recognizing & Preventing Abuse

Posted by Sandra On January - 21 - 2011 ADD COMMENTS

Child Abuse

Child abuse is more than bruises and broken bones. While physical abuse might be the most visible sign, other types of abuse, such as emotional abuse or child neglect, also leave deep, long lasting scars. Some signs of child abuse are subtler than others. However, by learning common types of abuse and what you can do, you can make a huge difference in a child’s life. The earlier abused children get help, the greater chance they have to heal from their abuse and not perpetuate the cycle. Learn the signs and symptoms of child abuse and help break the cycle, finding out where to get help for the children and their caregivers.

Child Molestation Research & Prevention Institute

It is estimated that at least two out of every ten girls and one out of every ten boys are sexually abused by the end of their 13th year. To protect all children, we first need to learn the facts. Did you know that most children who are sexually abused, are abused by a family member or close friend? Did you know that “stranger danger,” by comparison, is quite rare?

Child Sexual Abuse Trauma

Posted by Sandra On January - 17 - 2011 ADD COMMENTS

Go to fullsize image

Child sexual abuse has been reported up to 80,000 times a year, but the number of unreported instances is far greater, because the children are afraid to tell anyone what has happened, and the legal procedure for validating an episode is difficult. The problem should be identified, the abuse stopped, and the child should receive professional help. The long-term emotional and psychological damage can be devastating.

Child sexual abuse can take place within the family, by a parent, step-parent, sibling or other relative; or outside the home, for example, by a friend, neighbor, child care person, teacher or random molester. However, when the sexual abuse has occurred, the child develops a variety of distressing feelings and thoughts. No child is psychologically prepared to cope with repeated sexual stimulation. Even a two or three year old, who cannot know the sexual activity is “wrong,” will develop problems resulting from the inability to cope with the over stimulation.

Chinese Parenting Controversy

Amy Chua in her home in New Haven, Conn. with her daughters Lulu (left) and Sophia.

How far is too far in the name of success?

The book tells how a high-energy Chinese-American woman who graduated from Harvard College and Harvard Law School, and who now teaches at Yale Law School, threw herself into raising two daughters with one iron-clad pledge: to never become one of those pushover “Western” parents.

Her memoir begins: “A lot of people wonder how Chinese parents raise such stereotypically successful kids. They wonder what these parents do to produce so many math whizzes and music prodigies, what it’s like inside the family, and whether they could do it too. Well, I can tell them, because I’ve done it.” And she goes on to say what her two girls were never allowed to do: attend a sleepover, have a play-date, participate in a school play, or get a grade less than an A.
