Police hunting for high-risk sex offender who removed monitoring device
LLOYDMINSTER, Saskatchewan – RCMP are asking the public to be on the lookout for 48-year-old Michael Sean Stanley who is a high-risk sex offender. RCMP say Stanley left Edmonton on Tuesday morning, went to Lloydminster and cut off his electronic monitoring bracelet. The bracelet was found on a business’s roof in the 4300-block of 54 Avenue. Mounties say Stanley has a long history of sexual offences and has taken kids from playgrounds in the past. READ MORE HERE

WILLIAM LEE COPP
William Lee Copp is wanted for child pornography offenses which occurred from the late 1990s through 2004, in Englewood, Florida. Copp is alleged to have used his credit card to subscribe to a web site which allowed him to access child pornography. Copp allegedly downloaded child pornography and saved it to his computer and disks. Copp was charged in a 126-count criminal complaint and capias by the 12th Judicial Circuit Court, State of Florida, for obscene material possession-possessing a photograph of the sexual performance by a child (child pornography) in violation of Florida State statute. Copp was scheduled to appear for a court proceeding on February 2, 2006, in Sarasota County, Florida, however, he failed to appear. He also was scheduled to appear for his trial on February 6, 2006, at the Circuit Court, Sarasota, Florida, however, he failed to appear again. On February 7, 2006, a state warrant was issued for his arrest.
In addition, a federal arrest warrant was issued on February 24, 2006, by the United States District Court, Middle District of Florida, Tampa Division, after Copp was charged federally with unlawful flight to avoid prosecution.

Connelly set to be released after just five years in jail
Taxpayers will not fund a new identity to protect the mother of Baby P when she is released from jail, it emerged last night. Despite fears over her safety, Tracey Connelly – who allowed her son Peter to be tortured to death by her boyfriend – could walk to her freedom this week without protection. The 32-year-old will be transferred from Low Newton jail near Durham to a parole hostel where she will start her re-integration back into society. READ MORE HERE

AMBER ALERT – The New Castle County Police Department is investigating the possible abduction of a juvenile, described as a white female 10-12 years of age, which occurred at approximately 6:30 p.m. at Albion Drive in the areas Elliott Street, in the community of Whispering Pines Townhomes, Newark, DE. Witnesses have reported that the juvenile female was abducted while walking and pulled into an older unknown make or model SUV, white in color, with rear dark tinted windows, and a roof rack. Suspect is described as a male approximately 30 years of age. The suspect vehicle was last seen making a right onto Old Newark Road. There is no further physical or clothing description for the victim or suspect at this time. Amazon service ‘used for child abuse pictures’
Reports of pictures showing abuse of children under 10 have risen by almost a third in the past year. Amazon is top of a “hotlist of targets” drawn up by the leading internet child abuse watchdog in a fresh attempt to tackle what it says is a steep rise in reports of extreme images online. The Internet Watch Foundation (IWF), which polices child sexual abuse material, said it had seen a tenfold increase in reports to its hotline about graphic images on third-party pages hosted on computer hardware provided by the retail giant. Dive teams discovered the body of a Michigan boy after an exhaustive two-day search around the Flat River, reported WWMA-TV. 10-YO boy goes missing while fishing; prompts large search
BELDING, MI — Authorities in Belding are searching for a young boy who went missing yesterday after telling his parents he was going fishing. A dive team has been called in to search the Flat River for missing Devon Morrison, whom Ionia County sheriff’s dispatchers say went missing Saturday, Sept. 14 in Belding. Morrison left his home near Harrison Street and North York Street on Belding’s northeast side to go fishing alone on Saturday and never returned. A jury on Thursday exonerated him of 12 charges of child sexual abuse
Michael Le Vell has said he forgives the teenager who falsely accused him of rape, but revealed that he believes the girl’s mother is ‘hell bent’ on destroying him. The Coronation Street star, 48, who was dramatically cleared of rape and indecent assault this week, told his family he believes his two-year ordeal was the result of a vindictive campaign. Fugitive wanted for repeated rape of child
The Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force is offering a reward for information which would lead to the capture of fugitive Roy Young Jr. Young is wanted by the U.S. Marshals and the Lorain County Sheriff’s Office. Young is wanted for rape, sexual assault, and gross sexual imposition. It is alleged that Young has continually raped and sexually assaulted a young child for the last ten years. READ MORE HERE
Braxton Wood, Jayden Thomas Missing: MI Teens Disappeared Aug. 26
Two Mount Pleasant, Mich., teens suspected of running away together haven’t been seen for more than a week. “It’s like they fell off the face of the earth,” Jayden Thomas’ mom, Kelly Drinkwine told CBS Detroit. “No one can find them.” Thomas, 13, disappeared with 14-year-old Braxton Wood on the morning of Aug. 26. Officials suspect the teens took off together in a Ford Explorer belonging to Woods’ parents, ABC News reports. Jon Venables – one of the child killers of James Bulger – has been secretly freed from prison, it was revealed today. The 31-year-old, who was released from his life sentence for the brutal murder of the toddler in 2001, was locked up again three years ago after being caught with child porn on his computer. But it has been claimed today that he was released last week and given a fourth new identity – with the cost of protecting Venables believed to have passed £1million.
