Braxton Wood, Jayden Thomas Missing: MI Teens Disappeared Aug. 26
Two Mount Pleasant, Mich., teens suspected of running away together haven’t been seen for more than a week. “It’s like they fell off the face of the earth,” Jayden Thomas’ mom, Kelly Drinkwine told CBS Detroit. “No one can find them.” Thomas, 13, disappeared with 14-year-old Braxton Wood on the morning of Aug. 26. Officials suspect the teens took off together in a Ford Explorer belonging to Woods’ parents, ABC News reports. Isabella County (Michigan) missing teens’ parents speak
MT. PLEASANT, MI — The gut-wrenching feeling of not knowing is tormenting Sarah Kiley and Ed Wood. Their son, Braxton Wood, has been missing since Monday, and they haven’t slept since. “It’s tough. It’s kind of crazy. You just can’t imagine not having your child in your house,” said Ed Wood. “Or imagining life without your child,” said Sarah Kiley. Early Monday morning, their 14-year old son took the family’s 2005 black Ford Explorer from their Mt. Pleasant home.
