Logan, UT – In October 2009, after a fight with her husband, Reggie Ann Peck attempted to kill her two young daughters by slipping the antidepressant drug Trazadone into their bottles. Fortunately, the girls didn’t ingest enough of the drug to suffer any ill effects. Reggie was arrested and charged with surreptitious administering of certain substance, assault, and domestic violence in the presence of a child. (The assault and DV charges stem from the fight with the husband). In January, Reggie entered a plea in abeyance through a mental health court – if she complied with terms of her probation, the charges would be dismissed.

GREENVILLE COUNTY, S.C. — A Marietta couple is facing multiple charges in connection with the sexual and physical abuse of four young girls, deputies said.Greenville County Sheriff’s Office Sex Crime investigators said that Gary Reese Thompson is charged with first-degree criminal sexual conduct with minor under 11, unlawful neglect of a child and disseminating obscene material to a minor under 12.

Lake Orion, MI – An FBI agent was online trolling for perverts when she stumbled across Rev. William Bendert, the pastor for King of Kings Lutheran Church in Lake Orion. The undercover agent posed as a single mother looking for a man to provide sexual training for her 11-year-old daughter. Bendert was up for the job, stating he has some experience with this kind of thing, providing the same service for three other young girls. This service included teaching various sexual techniques and the girls learn about their body.

Police Looking for Suspected CA “Bedroom Intruder”

RANCHO PALOS VERDES — Los Angeles County Sheriff’s detectives released photographs Thursday of a man wanted for breaking into a Rancho Palos Verdes home and stroking the hair of a sleeping teenage girl. The photos were taken from surveillance video of the man about five hours before the break-in last week at an undisclosed location.

An Elmhurst woman was charged Tuesday with attempted first-degree murder, aggravated battery of a child and aggravated battery with a deadly weapon after she allegedly attacked her 9-month-old grandson with a knife.

Elmhurst police said they responded Saturday to the 100 block of Willow Road in Elmhurst after a report that an infant had been stabbed.

ORLANDO, Fla. — The death of a 7-month-old boy has been ruled a homicide and his father, Keith Skinner, has been arrested and charged with his murder. Autopsy results released Tuesday by the Orange-Osceola Medical Examiner state Triumph Alexander Skinner’s manner of death as homicide. When the little boy was brought to the hospital, doctor’s noted he had suffered a perforated bowel and a severely fractured skull. They also added he had multiple fractured ribs in various stages of healing. He would die while in surgery.

Governor Schwarzenegger Signs “Chelsea’s Law”

Chelsea’s Law calls for mandatory life sentences without parole for violent sex crimes against children.

SAN DIEGO — Convicted child molesters in California now face life in prison after Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger signed “Chelsea’s Law” Thursday.

The Governor was joined by Chelsea’s parents, Brent and Kelly King, as he signed the new law during a ceremony in Balboa Park.

Sandy, Utah–Richard Chad Randall, 41, of Sandy, Utah is accused of raping a 4 year old girl in a Deseret Industries store yesterday, Tuesday, September 7, 2010. BRUNSWICK, Ga. — A Glynn County man in jail in connection with the death of a 17-month-old girl last year will  be released before he even goes to trial.Police said Daryl Jones was watching Brianna Hester when she died of head trauma. Jones has been in jail for more than a year awaiting trial.
