The girl was nowhere to be seen. The girl’s 9-year-old brother, who had jumped into the van hoping to protect her — was now distraught and scared. A child who was allegedly raped by his father and forced to have sex with his mother showed disturbing behavior in school such as biting and spitting, a trial has heard. The 12-year-old boy has now concluded his evidence at the Central Criminal Court after spending nearly two weeks testifying via video-link about various abuses he allegedly suffered in the family home in Waterford including being raped with a hot poker and having a gun held to his head. Ex-student arrived at school prom with rifle and opened fire before being killed by cops

WISCONSIN – A teenage gunman was shot dead by police officers after he opened fire with a high-powered rifle outside a high school prom, injuring a couple of students, authorities said. Jackob E. Wagner, 18, arrived at Antigo High School in Antigo, Wisconsin, at around 11pm on Saturday night and started firing at the pair, a male and a female, at the school’s entrance as they left the building. Antigo Police Chief Eric Roller said several police officers were at the scene providing security for the event and quickly stopped the threat by shooting the suspect. SEMINOLE, Oklahoma — A missing child alert was issued in late April 2006 for Colton Clark of Seminole. Serial child rapist sentenced to 100 years in prison

Flathead District Court Judge Robert Allison on Thursday granted a serial child rapist’s request to be sent to prison for the rest of his life. Jason Dean Franks, 46, of Kalispell was sentenced to 100 years in prison for raping an 11-year-old girl in March 2007 at her father’s home. Franks can only be paroled if he agrees to complete two sex offender treatment programs that require him to admit guilt and agrees to take drugs that reduce his sex drive. A Denver woman has been arrested after she allegedly beat her three-year-old niece to death and then hid her under a bed after locking the toddler in a closet for two weeks. Shanna Gossett, 29, has been charged with first-degree murder, child abuse resulting in death, second-degree kidnapping and false imprisonment. Bethannie Johnson was found unresponsive in the middle of a living room floor at a home in Grand Junction on March 17. A Long Island New York woman has been arrested on a murder charge after police say she suffocated her newborn baby girl and then stuffed the child’s body in a plastic bag. Nassau County police say 20-year-old Sharon Seudat was arrested Friday and is being charged with second degree murder. Mother and Boyfriend Charged with Murder

A Louisville mother and her boyfriend are both behind bars in connection to a 5-month-old’s death earlier in March in Louisville. Police arrested Brittney Ballard, 20, Wednesday evening and is charged with child abuse, accused of being the custodial parent to Noah Ballard-Jones when he suffered blunt force trauma. Police said the baby went into cardiac arrest on Monday, March 14, and was rushed to Kosair Children’s Hospital, where doctors found Jones had suffered a number of injuries over time, from fractured ribs, to fractures in his right arm and leg, as well as a fractured skull. CURWENSVILLE — A Curwensville man is facing 2,740 counts of child sex abuse after being accused by a female juvenile of raping and molesting her repeatedly in incidents that date back to 2011. Curwensville Borough Police Chief David Johnston filed the following charges against Steve Daniel Kephart, 33:

• 308 counts each of rape-forcible compulsion and rape-threat of forcible compulsion
• 283 counts of involuntary deviate sexual intercourse, all of which are first-degree felonies, 283 counts of second-degree felony aggravated indecent assault-without consent
• 283 counts of second-degree felony aggravated indecent assault-victim younger than 16 years old
• 567 counts of second-degree statutory sexual assault
• 6 counts of second-degree felony photograph/film/depict on computer sex act-child, three counts of third-degree felony child pornography
• 307 counts of corruption of minors defendant age 18 or older
• 51 counts of first-degree felony rape of a child
• 24 counts of first-degree IDSI-forcible compulsion
• 24 counts of IDSI-threat forcible compulsion

A Vale man who was arrested in December by Lincolnton Police on charges that he raped a child received a total of 162 additional charges on Tuesday, according to a press release. Danny Lee Hensley, 40, of 7873 Matthew Miller Road, was charged by police with 80 felony counts of kidnapping, 80 felony counts of taking indecent liberties with a child, felony attempted first degree rape and misdemeanor communicating threats. Hensley received a $1,000,000 bond on the new charges and is being held in the Harven Crouse Detention Center under a total $1,200,000 bond. WOODBURY — A Gloucester County woman is charged with murder in connection with the death of her newborn baby, the county prosecutor’s office announced Thursday. Police say Jade Fanz, 19, of Franklin Township, strangled the baby girl and disposed of her body. The child’s corpse was found on the property of her family’s Proposed Avenue home on Feb. 27.
