Parolee Accused of Torturing 5-yo Boy

SANTA ANA, CA — A Placentia man is accused of beating, stabbing and torturing a 5-year-old boy who was being cared for by his girlfriend. Carmen William Iacullo II, 33, is charged with felony torture, child abuse and corporal injury on a child, plus sentencing enhancements for causing serious injury. His girlfriend, Lori Louisa Pincus, 39, also of Placentia, is also charged with child abuse and accessory after the fact for allegedly allowing the torture to take place and failing to seek medical treatment for the boy.

GEORGETOWN — Describing the brutality of rapes pediatrician Earl B. Bradley admits he committed, a state trooper testified last week that the doctor had to perform mouth-to-mouth resuscitation on victims who appeared to stop breathing and turned “ashen gray.” The disclosure that some girls appeared to lose consciousness, both choking and suffocating, when he forced oral sex on them led two women to storm out of the hushed courtroom. His average victim was about 3 years old, a trooper said.

Girl, 5, Facing Murder Charges in Death of Toddler Who ‘Cried Too Much’

KANSAS CITY, MO — A 5-year-old girl is facing possible murder charges for allegedly drowning a toddler who was crying too much. Police are waiting for a medical examiner’s report on how Jermane Johnson Jr., died, but are investigating the death as a homicide, spokesman Darin Snapp said Thursday. “I’ve been in law enforcement for 20 years and it’s the youngest suspect I can remember,” Snapp said.

Sex Offender Arrested for Raping 2 Children

LINCOLN, Del.– Delaware State Police have arrested a registered sex offender accused of raping two young girls he was supposed to be watching. Stanley O. Taylor, 55, of Lincoln, was taken into custody Sunday, June 5, and charged with four counts of second-degree rape, one count of first-degree attempted rape, one count of sex offender-unlawful sexual conduct, two counts of sexual exploitation of a child- photograph/film in sexual act and two counts of endangering the welfare of a child.

SAN JACINTO — Police are investigating the death of a baby boy after he was surrendered by his parents at a Riverside fire station. The parents dropped the 2-month-old boy off at Station 78 on the 2000 block of Cottonwood Street in San Jacinto around 4 a.m. Sunday.

PLACERVILLE, CA — Phillip Garrido used a stun gun to kidnap 11-year-old Jaycee Lee Dugard and kept her locked inside a room with an iron door and gate during her 18-years in captivity, which included sexual “runs,” according to Grand Jury transcripts. Dugard said that Garrido used a stun gun while his wife Nancy grabbed her off a South Lake Tahoe street as she walked to school on June 10, 1991.

(CNN) — Under intense questioning by police, Casey Anthony admitted she had purposely misled investigators attempting to find her missing 2-year-old daughter, Caylee, but maintained the little girl was kidnapped by her nanny, according to a tape of the hour-long interview played for jurors in her capital murder trial Thursday. The interview with an Orange County, Florida, sheriff’s sergeant and two detectives was conducted July 16, 2008, in a conference room at Universal Studios.

Billy Bob Thornton’s Daughter Found Guilty of Manslaughter

Billy Bob Thornton‘s estranged daughter, Amanda Brumfield, has been found guilty of aggravated manslaughter in the 2008 death of a 1-year-old girl in Orlando, Fla. Robin Leigh Pagoria, 45, faces child abuse, child pornography charges.

A Polk County sheriff’s deputy filmed herself strapping naked children to a desk and spanking them with sex toys, then sent the videos to a boyfriend she met on a fetish website, investigators said. On Thursday, 45-year-old Robin Leigh Pagoria was charged with aggravated child abuse, production of child pornography, promotion of child pornography and possession of child pornography. According to an arrest report, the two children, described only as girls between the ages of 10 and 18, described in graphic detail multiple spanking sessions.

ORLANDO, Florida — Two-year-old Caylee Anthony was not murdered by her mother as prosecutors maintain, but drowned in the family’s pool in June 2008, Casey Anthony’s defense attorney told jurors during his opening statements Tuesday. Authorities were not alerted to Caylee’s death, Jose Baez said, as Anthony and her father, George Anthony, panicked upon finding the child, and George Anthony told his daughter her mother would never forgive her and she would go to jail for child neglect, Baez said.
