Divers found the body of missing 3-year-old Reena Williams in a canal only yards from her Wisconsin home. Williams had last been seen Tuesday evening playing with the family dog in her front yard. About an hour and a half later she was reported missing. Hundreds of volunteers scoured the hour and police brought out police dogs and a helicopter to help with the frantic search. VAN BUREN TOWNSHIP, Michigan -A mother and her two children have been found stabbed to death in a Van Buren Township home. Local 4 has learned that police found the victims in a home on Anna Street when they went to the home at about 8:30 a.m. Thursday to notify the family that the victim’s husband, Michael Vanderlinden, had been killed in a crash on an Indiana freeway. When no one answered, police said they went in through an open door and found the 34-year-old mother, a 4-year-old son and a 7-year-old boy each stabbed in the chest. HILLSBORO, Ohio – Bond has been set for a man accused of killing a family member. Matthew Pierson, 18, is charged with murder in the death of Jada Beth Williams. The 5-year-old girl was found dead in a garage on Sunday. Williams is Pierson’s niece. Sheriff’s deputies said they were called Sunday afternoon to a home in the 800 block of Flat Run Road, where they found the 5-year-old’s body in a garage with apparent wounds to her face and neck. (CNN) — A Texas constable and two others were killed Monday in a shooting near Texas A&M University, police said. Scott McCollum, assistant chief with the College Station police department, told reporters Monday afternoon that the three people killed were the constable, the man authorities say exchanged gunfire with law enforcement officers and an unidentified 65-year-old male civilian. For nearly a century, the Boy Scouts of America has relied on a confidential blacklist known as the “perversion files” as a crucial line of defense against sexual predators. Scouting officials say they’ve used the files to prevent hundreds of men who had been expelled for alleged sexual abuse from returning to the ranks. They’ve fought hard in court to keep the records from public view, saying confidentiality was needed to protect victims, witnesses and anyone falsely accused. “It is a fact that Scouts are safer because the barrier created by these files is real,” Scouts Chief Executive Robert Mazzuca said in video posted on the organization’s website in June. The injuries included two leg fractures, a broken collarbone, a bleeding skull fracture, a broken arm and hand, and three broken ribs. SANTA ANA, CA – A 48-year old college professor is accused of plotting to murder students and administrators at his son’s former high school in Irvine. Rainer Klaus Reinscheid, a professor at the UC, Irvine, is charged with setting five fires on the campus of University High School, in Mason Park Preserve, and at a school administrator?s home. MOSCOW — Villagers in Russia’s south Urals have stumbled upon a gruesome discovery — four barrels containing 248 human fetuses left in a forest. Police in the Sverdlovsk region said Tuesday the fetuses, preserved in formaldehyde, were kept in barrels with tags containing surnames and numbers.
