Mom, toddlers found dead in Sandusky, OH home

A man released from prison six months ago was arrested Monday in the killing of a woman he knew and her two young children. Officers found the bodies of 23-year-old Heather Jackson and her 3-year-old daughter and 18-month-old son Saturday night at their home in Sandusky, a city in northern Ohio that sits along Lake Erie midway between Toledo and Cleveland. A Vancouver man has been sentenced to about eight and a half years in prison for sexually abusing an infant boy and displaying the sex abuse over the Internet. Anthony G. Fontana, 23, pleaded guilty Friday to first-degree rape of a child. He was sentenced to 104 months in prison. After completing the prison term, Fontana will be under community supervision and must register as a sex offender for the rest of his life. The investigation into the sex abuse began in August 2011 following an anonymous tip to Child Protective Services. Fontana knew the boy, who was under 1 year old at the time, because the baby was a child of a former acquaintance, said Vancouver police Sgt. John Chapman.  READ MORE HERE

LOUDON (Knoxville, TN) – The Loudon County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help to find a man who’s a child rape suspect. There’s a warrant for the arrest of Edward Underwood, Jr., 61, for allegedly raping a juvenile family member. Investigators say Underwood is 5’8″ and 165 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes. He may be driving a blue Chevrolet S-10 pickup truck with a white camper top.  50-year-old Angela Montgomery of Portland, Oregon was arrested in Murfreesboro, Tennessee for sexually abusing her two children ten years ago. According to the Shreve Port Times, Montgomery’s two children, now a 21 year old man and a 15 year old girl, came to police to report the abuse that took place.  READ MORE HERE

Molested Kids Aged 6 And 9

Michael and Michelle Freeman turned themselves in to the police for child abuse on Tuesday after a year long manhunt. The case started when Homeland Security caught a man at LAX with several photographs of an unknown origin. According to ABC News, after digitally deconstructing the photographs the FBI could infer a few things, but not enough to pinpoint their Jane Doe, a woman whose face appeared un-blurred in the photos.  READ MORE HERE

14-month-old, Taquan Willis, was viciously beaten to death by a 9-year-old boy in his own home. According to the Daily Mail, at the time of the attack, Taquan’s two brothers, ages 2 and 3, and a friend of his mother’s, her boyfriend, a 12-year-old boy and the 9-year-old who committed the act were are staying at the house.  READ MORE HERE

AUBURNDALE – Maria Schiesske said she saw her former boyfriend punch walls, heard him make violent threats and was herself sometimes the brunt of his outbursts. Still, she said she never expected him to be accused of killing his 11-month-old stepson in Auburndale. Edwin A. RIVERSIDE, CA — A Riverside mother and her two young children were stabbed to death Thursday morning by the woman’s estranged husband or boyfriend, police said. The suspect was later shot and wounded in a confrontation with officers, according to authorities. Two teenagers, 18-year-old Tyler Best and 16-year-old John Freeman, have been arrested in connection to the murder of five year old Isabella Tenant, whose remains were found in a trash can last Monday. 20 year old, Myriah Moreland of Montesano, Washington sent pornographic pictures of her six-month-old son to Christopher Dupea of Spanaway, Washington through use of the social networking site, Skout. Pittsburgh police: Baby abducted from hospital is found

(CNN) — An infant abducted Thursday afternoon from a Pittsburgh hospital has been found and reunited with his mother, officials said. Spokeswoman Diane Richard of the Pittsburgh police confirmed the recovery hours after a woman not believed to be a hospital employee took the baby. CNN affiliate WPXI said the 3-day-old baby was taken from Magee-Womens Hospital of UPMC. Wendy Zellner, a UPMC spokeswoman, told CNN the abduction occurred as the family was preparing for the infant to be discharged.  READ MORE HERE

CAMDEN, N.J. — Child welfare authorities in New Jersey say they had been regularly monitoring and providing counseling to a woman who police say decapitated her 2-year-old son. A statement from the Department of Children and Families says Chevonne Thomas received “extensive” support from the agency after recently regaining custody of the boy. Police say they found the body of young Zahree Thomas early Wednesday on the first floor of his mother’s Camden home and his head in the freezer. READ MORE HERE
