Stark County, Illinois – Kendra Meaker, a 19-year-old Illinois woman was jailed Thursday after she allegedly dumped her three-week old daughter in a ditch, drove off, waited 12 hours, then claimed her daughter had been kidnapped. According to the Stark County Sheriff’s Office, Meaker reportedly walked into their office Thursday morning and told deputies that her daughter had been kidnapped out of her car while she was mailing a package at the post office.  In Greenbier, Florida, 14 year old Cassidy Goodison has been charged as an adult with first degree murder after strangling her newborn baby boy to death and hiding his corpse in a shoe box. According to Daily Bhaskar, Cassidy went into labor in the bathroom of her home and cut the umbilical cord with a pair of scissors.  READ MORE HERE

A 28-year-old German woman killed five of her newborn children because she feared her husband would leave her if they had more children. According to BBC News, already having two children, ages 8 and 10, with the woman, the husband knew nothing of the five other pregnancies. He Didn’t Want To Pay Child Support

Thomas Olivias, 29, was arrested for allegedly stabbing his ex-girlfriend to death and then burning their one-year-old son alive in the apartment, because he did not want to pay child support. On the March 20, 2011, the bodies of 26-year-old Mechelle Gandy and her 1-year-old son Asher Olivas were recovered from the smoking remains of their apartment, and authorities have been carefully building a  case ever since.  READ MORE HERE

A man who pleaded guilty to 18 sexual offences against children has been jailed for life. Darren Mackrell, 45, of Wilton Avenue, Southampton was sentenced to an indeterminate term of imprisonment for public protection at Winchester Crown Court. He committed the crimes on 21 April 2012. BEDFORD, PA — A traveling preacher who claimed an 11-year-old girl became “belligerent” when he refused to sleep in the same bed as her has been convicted of raping the girl at a southwestern Pennsylvania motel. A Bedford County jury convicted the Rev. Walter Bradshaw of 22 of 24 counts Thursday after the Lexington, N.C. evangelist denied the allegations, saying the now-15-year-old girl was vindictive and “could turn on you.”  READ MORE HERE

Father killed 15-week-old daughter during oral rape

A father has been found guilty of killing his 15-week-old daughter while he was orally raping her. Steven Deuman Jr, 26, of Suttons Bay near Traverse City, was convicted of first-degree murder and aggravated sexual assault after jurors – who were subjected to disturbing testimony and photos – took less than an hour to convict him. In August 2011, baby Evelynne Deuman was found in the bedroom of their mobile home bleeding from the nose, unconscious and not breathing. READ MORE HERE

A mother who punched and kicked her daughter, nine, for 17 months until she eventually died has been sentenced to spend at least 15 years in prison for her death. Crystal Cardenas, 27, from San Diego, pleaded guilty last month to second-degree murder. Her daughter Elizabeth died in hospital after receiving a fatal punch and kick to her stomach.  Deputy District Attorney Lindsey Krause said Elizabeth Holloway was choked, punched, kicked, burned and thrown to the ground during the time she lived with her mother. Daquan Davis, 19, is on trial after shaking 6-month-old, Yusuf E’Miy Stewart-Ali Jr., multiple times until he eventually died. According to the Press of Atlantic City, while reports say the baby was shaken, Stewart’s mother, Ebony, stated that the authorities showed her images of bruises on her baby and that the baby suffered multiple broken ribs in his death.  READ MORE HERE

Convicted child sex abuser Roger Bruce Bell, 56, of the Muscadine community was sentenced this week by Circuit Court Judge Debra Jones following a jury trail in Heflin. According to Cleburne County Sheriff’s Investigator Dennis Green, Bell was arrested Feb. 9, 2011 after Stringfellow Hospital in Anniston reported an alleged sexual assault involving a child under the age of 12. TIGARD, OR — Police said a 4-year-old boy was beaten to death at the hands of his mother and her boyfriend.  Police said the family of six was homeless and taking temporary refuge at the Good Neighbor Center in Tigard, when employees there noticed the boy’s injuries and called for help. “This is horrifying, we are in the business for caring for people, giving a hand up, nothing like this, of course, ever happens,” said Good Neighbor Center Director Jack Schwab.  READ MORE HERE
