CIRCLEVILLE – The man accused of murder in the shaking death of 10-month-old Kyle Calton of Laurelville has reportedly been captured by the U.S. Marshal Service in Sacramento, Calif., according to Dwight E. Radcliff, Pickaway County Sheriff. Wayne “Wolf” Walker, 44, is now in the custody of the Marshal Service, and the Pickaway County Sheriff’s Office is awaiting word on when he will be returned to Circleville to face the murder charge. WYOMING — A classroom murder leaves a small community college shaken. It is believed that the killer used a sharp-edged, bow-and-arrow-type weapon to murder a female student, a teacher, and then himself. The female student was not murdered on the campus, but a mile or so down the street. 6-YO Jersey Bridgeman Murder Suspect ArrestedBENTONVILLE, Ark. – Authorities in northwest Arkansas said a fellow inmate attacked accused murderer Zachary Holly on Tuesday, a day before Holly was expected in court for the slaying of 6-year-old Jersey Bridgeman. Holly, 28, was arrested Monday on capital murder, kidnapping and residential burglary charges in Jersey’s death. Arkansas police are questioning registered sex offenders in their investigation into the death of a six-year-old girl whose body was found in an abandoned home just 200 feet from where she lived with her mother. Jersey Bridgeman, whose father and stepmother were jailed last year for chaining her to a dresser, disappeared from her bedroom at her home in Bentonville, on Monday night. A girl called Teegan, not her real name, says she was taken to houses from the age of 13 and raped by several men. Mother, Daughters Found Dead in Bedroom ClosetMIAMI, Fla. — Police are investigating the deaths of a 29-year-old woman and her two young daughters found dead inside a closet at their home near Miami. Police were called after a neighbor smelled an foul odor and went inside the house to find its source. The director general of the British Broadcasting Corporation, George Entwistle, resigned Saturday after only 54 days in the role – the latest to be caught in the wake of a child sex-abuse scandal that has thrown the 90-year-old publicly funded behemoth and other U.K. institutions into deepening turmoil. LANCASTER COUNTY, SC — A man whose grandson is also his son will spend a year in prison after admitting to sexually assaulting and impregnating his daughter 14 years ago. Fred Lee Montgomery, 47, pleaded guilty to second-degree criminal sexual conduct with a minor in a Lancaster County courtroom Monday morning. A judge sentenced him to 15 years in prison, but suspended all but one year. Tiara Stevens, 27, who was only 13 years old when she gave birth to her son, said Monday she was shocked by the sentence. “It was a slap in my face,” said Stevens. “To wait 14 years and all a person gets is 1 year? Lancaster, Kentucky – Curtis Howard, a 32-year-old Kentucky man was jailed Thursday – accused of committing 250 sex offenses including rape, sodomy and incest. According to Kentucky State Police, an investigation was launched Wednesday when Howard’s wife contacted police while the family was preparing to move to Mercer County. Investigators say Howard is accused of physically and sexually abusing his wife and a family relative. The alleged sexual abuse was occurred on an ongoing basis over a 5-6 month period. A young boy lost his life for not studying hard enough. 7-year-old Yaseen Ali Ege died after his mother allegedly beat him to death and set him on fire because he failed to learn the Koran fast enough. Sara Ege has been accused of brutally beating her son and then setting his corpse on fire to hide her crime. Illinois Mom Stabbed Son and Girl 150 TimesThe Illinois woman charged with the murder of her 7-year-old son and a 5-year-old girl she was babysitting stabbed them dozens of times in order to get attention from her husband, according to police. Elzbieta Plackowska, 40, of Naperville, Ill., was denied bail by a Chicago-area court today on two counts of first-degree murder. She was ordered held in DuPage County. Plackowska, who was babysitting Olivia Dworakowski, was arrested after the 5-year-old and her son Justin Plackowski, 7, were found by police slashed and stabbed “numerous, numerous times” at approximately 10:15 p.m. Tuesday at Dworakowski’s family home. This was the dramatic moment today when Gary Glitter was taken from his home after being arrested for questioning in connection with the Jimmy Savile scandal following allegations of sexual offenses. Wearing a bobble hat, thick grey coat, grey trousers, black gloves and sunglasses, the 68-year-old disgraced pop star, whose real name is Paul Gadd, left his central London house at around 7:15am. Glitter, originally from Banbury, Oxfordshire, was arrested by the Metropolitan Police on suspicion of sexual offences in connection with Operation Yewtree – the Savile probe – and taken into custody.
