A ten-year-old boy in China has become the poster boy for anti-family cruelty campaigners after being beaten black and blue by his violent stepmother. Bin Bin, a pupil at a primary school in Heyuan city in Guangdong province, was asked by his teacher why he seemed in pain every time he moved. The boy burst into tears, before admitting he did not want to go home as his stepmother would regularly tie him to a clothes rack so she could carry out savage beatings. An 18-year-old Arizona high school student has been indicted on nearly 30 felony counts for allegedly sexually assaulting a dozen girls over nearly five years. Charges against Tyler Kost, of San Tan Valley, include multiple counts of sexual assault with a minor, sexual abuse with a minor and sexual conduct with a minor. He also faces one count of child molestation. Pinal County Attorney Lando Voyles said the victims in the crimes alleged in the indictment issued Wednesday ranged from 12 to 17 years old. Voyles said the offenses occurred between October 2009 and April 2014. Man, 22, found guilty of killing 1-yo girl found hemorrhaging from her eyes with alcohol and marijuana in her blood

A Michigan man has been found guilty of killing his girlfriend’s 1-year-old daughter who authorities say had bleeding in her brain and eyes, as well as alcohol and marijuana in her system. A Kalamazoo jury convicted Toren Hains, 22, Tuesday of felony murder and first-degree child abuse in the December 2012 death of Zoie Grace Johnston, of Oshtemo Township.  Hains’ murder conviction comes with mandatory life imprisonment. Couple accused of abusing child, causing her to go blind

GREENFIELD, Indiana – A Greenfield couple is facing charges after police said they abused their daughter so badly that the 3-month-old went blind. Michael Knott, 26, and Andie Suddarth, 23, were charged with felony neglect last Friday, authorities said. Police said the infant suffered brain bleeding and retinal hemorrhaging after an incident in March. AMBER ALERT: 8-Year-Old Girl Taken From Swing Set In East Tulsa

TULSA, Oklahoma – Tulsa police said an 8-year-old girl was taken from a playground area at the Willowbend Apartments on Sunday night. Monserrat Aguirre was playing on a swing set outside about 7:20 p.m., and a white man pulled up in a small, four-door white car, grabbed her, put her in his car and drove away, police said. Witnesses said he was last seen heading west on East 31st Street. Officer Jillian Roberts said the witnesses were mainly other children on the playground, but one adult was nearby and saw part of the abduction. Ohio man charged with punching, killing 3-MO daughter

CINCINNATI – A southwest Ohio man is charged with aggravated murder in the death of his 3-month-old daughter. CBS affiliate WKRC reports that 24-year-old Shavale Johnson is accused of punching the baby, Asia Cathey, in the face with a closed fist on Monday night, according to police. Student to be arraigned in prom day slaying

HARTFORD, CN — A 16-year-old student faces arraignment on murder charges in the stabbing death of a classmate at their high school on the day of the junior prom. Police haven’t released the suspect’s name, but people who saw him taken into custody identified him as Chris Plaskon, a friend of the victim, 16-year-old Maren Sanchez. Plaskon’s attorney, Richard Meehan, says his client is being held in a hospital under psychiatric evaluation and will not appear at his arraignment, scheduled for Monday in New Haven. MIAMI – An 18-year-old mother has been arrested for child abuse and neglect five days after the death of her three-year old son. Selena Perez-Perez faced a judge Wednesday after her son was brought into the hospital Friday bruised and bitten. “You’ve recently been arrested for one count of child neglect no great bodily harm and one count of child abuse,” said the Judge. A 14-year-old southwest Baltimore boy is being charged as an adult for the rape of an eight-year-old girl. According to the statement of probable cause, the boy’s mother found her son, Solomon, on top of the girl with his pants down and her skirt up, in their living room on April 21. The mother told police there was a pair of scissors next to them and that the victim said; “He told me if I was to scream that he was going to cut me” and “He shoved his thing in me.” The victim had been visiting the southwest Baltimore home for the day. Coroner: Baby, 17 months, killed in child abuse incident

CHARLESTON, S.C. — A North Charleston man is facing homicide by child abuse charges after police were called to MUSC’s Children’s Hospital last week. According to police, 46-year-old Eugene Anthony Wright, of Dorchester Road, was charged in the case. Police say they were called to the children’s hospital when nurses who filed a child abuse complaint after a 17-month-old girl was taken to the hospital by EMS. Baby in coma; Stockton foster father accused of child abuse

STOCKTON – Police arrested Paul Teldeschi, 37, on suspicion of the child abuse of his 10-month-old foster daughter who is in a coma and not expected to survive. “I don’t believe it,” neighbor Kimberly Stewart said. “I don’t believe its true.” Kimberly and Chigger Stewart have lived across the street from the Teldeschis in the 200 block of East Cleveland Avenue for three years. Bail has been set at $6million for Megan Huntsman, a mother in Utah who was arrested Sunday after  police found the bodies of her six babies she has admitted to killing. Huntsman, 39, told police she either strangled or suffocated six of her babies immediately after they were born. She wrapped their bodies in a towel or a shirt, put them in plastic bags and then packed them inside boxes in the garage of her home south of Salt Lake City. The body of a seventh child was found in garage but it appears to have been stillborn, so she is not being charged in that death.
