HARRISON, N.Y. – A retired officer’s suicide note indicates that the killing of his teenage daughters in their beds was a premeditated act, a suburban New York police chief said Monday. Former White Plains Officer Glen Hochman had no known health or psychiatric problems and there were no indications of alcohol or drug use. Interviews with people who knew him, including former police colleagues, found no one had an inkling that “Mr. Hoffman would have committed this heinous crime,” said Harrison police Chief Anthony Marraccini. MISSOURI – Police in Branson are investigating what they are calling a suspicious death after a missing six-year-old little girl was found dead in a motel room. The Taney County Coroner is also investigating at the Windsor Inn on 76 Country Boulevard. A Florida man is facing premeditated murder charges after police say he killed his girlfriend’s 3-year-old son while she was at work. According to the Broward County Sheriff’s Office, 20-year-old Chantel Haye left her son, Khyese Coach, with Corey Gordon on February 9 while she went to her first day of work at a Boca Raton telemarketing company. The mother called Gordon shortly after her shift began to check on the child, according to court documents. Haye said Gordon was upset during the phone call because the toddler had defecated on his sister’s white couch, an arrest affidavit states. A 21-year-old Missouri father has been charged with felony child abuse after his baby son died from a traumatic brain injury last month. Cody Bunch of Festus told police three-month-old Aiden was injured when he fell over while carrying him. Aiden was hurt on January 6 and the infant died at St. Louis Children’s Hospital after he was taken off life support four days later. After doctor’s discovered evidence of seven prior injuries, Bunch was charged on January 16 with ‘child abuse resulting in death’ and he is being held in the Jefferson County Jail on a $500,000, cash-only bond. WICHITA, Kansas — A two-year-old girl is dead and her mother’s boyfriend has been charged with her murder. Sly Maples, 33, appeared in Sedgwick County District Court Thursday afternoon where he was charged with first degree murder and child abuse. Shortly after 1 p.m. Tuesday, Maples and woman brought an unconscious two-year-old girl to Via Christi Hospital St. Joseph on East Harry. The child’s mother told staff that the girl had hit her head while playing on a slide at Linwood Park, located in the 1900 block of South Kansas. Hospital staff became concerned over injuries that didn’t match up to the story and called police. A newborn baby has died after its mother allegedly doused it in a flammable liquid, set it alight and left it burning in a road. Witnesses say 22-year-old Hyphernkemberly Dorvilier got out of her car and stopped in the middle of Simontown Road in Pemberton Township, New Jersey, on Friday night and burned the child alive. Medics rushed to the scene and airlifted the young child, which was still alive and breathing when they arrived, to St Christopher’s Hospital in Philadelphia with severe burns.
