HARTFORD, CT – Police in Hartford said a 2-month-old who was in critical condition after an incident on April 15 has died. Adore Marie Daniels died Tuesday shortly after 4 a.m., according to Lt. CHICAGO — A former resident of Des Plaines, Ill., was sentenced to 50 years in federal prison for sexually molesting children between 2 and 11 years old to produce child pornography. This sentence was announced by Zachary T. Fardon, U.S. Attorney for the Northern District of Illinois, and Gary J. Hartwig, special agent in charge of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s (ICE) Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) in Chicago. Bobby Cruz, 34, pleaded guilty in September to one count of interstate travel to engage in sex with a minor and two counts of producing child pornography. This plea agreement resolved separate federal cases that were brought in both the Northern and Central districts of Illinois. He has remained in federal custody since his arrest in November 2011. A pedophile was allowed to run a clinic offering treatments to young children for two months after a court found him guilty of his sickening crimes. Timothy Millender, 32, continued to work at Redwood Health Therapies, in Winchester, Hampshire, which offered hypnotherapy to youngsters under 16, despite being given a six month suspended sentence for hoarding vile images of babies being raped and tortured. Millender pleaded guilty at Basingstoke Magistrates’ Court to having 740 pictures and 106 videos of children as young as six months being abused. MUSKEGON, Michigan — Authorities say a Fruitport Township couple has been abusing their baby since he was born. The 5-month-old boy was taken to Helen DeVos Hildren’s Hospital with “life-threatening” head and spinal injuries, Muskegon County Assistant Prosecutor Tim Maat confirmed. Father Kevin Bastian, 25, was charged with felony first-degree child abuse. A Fayetteville man was arrested Wednesday after police say he raped a two-year-old girl and recorded it on a cell phone. Scott Sholds, 31, was arrested on suspicion of distributing, possession and viewing child pornography, computer exploitation of a child and felony rape or sexual intercourse. Police in Argentina have rescued a 15-year-old girl from a garage where she had allegedly been locked up with a monkey and a dog from the age of three. The teenager, who was said to have been fed the same as the animals by her captors, weighed just 3st 1lb when she was found. Last night the unnamed youngster was in intensive care in hospital in Buenos Aires. Her carers, who were trying to adopt her, were being held in jail.
