She spent the next half hour checking out friends’ pages and catching up on news on the Fiji Times website before telling her husband the baby was dead, the Crown alleges.

A Lafourche Parish Sheriff’s Office deputy has been accused of aggravated rape of a 6-year-old child and fired, Sheriff Craig Webre said in a news release today.

A 59-year-old Dungeness man is under investigation on allegations of child rape and incest after four relatives said he sexually abused them.

Steven Guy Welty was charged in Clallam County Superior Court on Aug. 6 with six counts of first-degree child rape, six counts of first-degree child molestation and six counts of first-degree incest in the case of one of the relative.

A Woodbridge man has been charged with rape and other offenses in connection with the alleged rape of a 10-year-old girl, authorities said Monday.

Leonel Vega-Perez, 34, of the 14400 block of Delmar Drive, is jailed in Prince William County and charged with three counts of rape, three counts of object penetration and two counts of aggravated sexual battery.
