Caledonia, Mississippi (The Weekly Vice) – Angela Marie Shoemake, a 41-year-old Mississippi woman was jailed last week after she allegedly took pornographic images of her own two sons with plans to send them to a man over the Internet.

According to the Lowndes County Sheriff’s Office, Shoemake was arrested after her boyfriend found explicit photographs of her 8 and 6-year-old sons on her computer.

Lancaster, WI – After a three-month investigation by the Grant County Sheriff’s Office and the Department of Social Services, two brothers have been slapped with numerous sexual assault charges that include bestiality and incest. Police believe the two have sexually assaulted at least six family members and multiple barnyard animals. The human victims range in age from 5 to 16. The barnyard victims? A cow and a horse. Wow. MENTOR, Ohio – It didn’t take long before another Walmart groping story to make headlines, this one from Ohio involving a man accused of groping two girls, ages 7 and 10. During some back to school shopping on Monday,  a 7-year-old girl was with her father when she felt a man swipe his hand across her butt. She told her father she watched the man do the same thing to a 10-year-old girl in the store.

Mom: Boy charged with throwing acid thought it was water

13-year-old boy charged with chemical attack on two other kids at South Side apartment complex.

CHICAGO – A 13-year-old boy is charged in the acid attack that severely burned a 10-year-old boy and an 11-year-old girl. The suspect was cited in a juvenile delinquency petition, accused of heinous battery, and turned over to Juvenile Court for processing.

FINDLAY, Ohio – An Ohio baby died after his system was flushed with alcohol instead of saline during open heart surgery. According to WLWT in Cincinnati, 7-month-old Tressel had heart issues since birth and parents Emilie and Scott Meinardi knew a procedure would be necessary.

LONG BEACH, Calif.—A Wilmington man who raped three girls, including his 5-year-old niece, has been sentenced to 96 years to life in prison.

Twenty-five-year-old Carlos Aguirre Jr. was sentenced Tuesday in Long Beach after the judge called him a monster. He was convicted last month of a dozen charges, including rape, drug possession and possession of child pornography.

RED BLUFF, Calif. — A Red Bluff man is facing a child abuse charge after police say he severely beat a two-year-old girl in his care.Investigators first learned about the alleged abuse when they were called to St. Elizabeth’s Hospital Tuesday evening. Officials say the victim had bruising on her legs, hips, arms, back and buttocks.

MARTINSBURG, W.Va. — State Police say a Berkeley County man allegedly forced his two malnourished children to live in a concrete basement.

Jesse Arlo Lafferty was being held on $140,000 bond Wednesday at the Eastern Regional Jail. The 32-year-old was arraigned Monday on charges of child abuse, child neglect and conspiracy.

Tacoma, WA – Tyler Savage, 18, was arrested and charged with first-degree murder Monday night after leading police to the body of 16-year-old Kimmie Daley – a developmentally disabled teen who functioned at the level of a 9-year-old. Daley was reported missing on August 17 after she failed to show up at a friends house two blocks away from her own.

Monroe, WA – Ivan Belardo, 37, was babysitting for his ex-girlfriend’s twin boys early Monday morning when one of the tots reportedly hit him square in the baby-maker with an aluminum bicycle tire pump, supposedly drawing blood. And according to Belardo, the child, just 22-months-old, “looked as if he meant to do it.” At that point, the 6-foot tall, 195-pound Belardo said he “just lost control.”

EDINBURGH, Scotland — Scottish police on Friday charged the American mother of three children who were found dead in an Edinburgh town house with their murder. Theresa Riggi, 46, was arrested late Friday after police completed autopsies on her children: 8-year-old twins Augustino and Gianluca and their 5-year-old sister Cecilia.

No Sympathy for Those Who Traffic in Child Porn

Recently, a Chicago newspaper printed an editorial titled, “Sex-offender limits sometimes go too far,” that amazingly sought sympathy not for the thousands of children who fall victim to sex crimes each year in Illinois, but rather for a convicted child pornographer.

The assertion was that this man, “Scott,” deserves to be pitied because his life is more difficult thanks to his placement on the Sex Offender Registry. What nonsense. I find this argument both misleading and insensitive to the true victims of these heinous crimes.
