LOS ANGELES (KTLA) — Three boys abducted from Southern California more than two years ago have been found safe in the Netherlands, and their fathers have been arrested on kidnapping charges. John Silah and George Silah were taken into custody in The Hague on Tuesday, according to the FBI. Greg Silah and his cousins Alex and Zaven Silah were taken to a shelter. They will be reunited with their mothers, Christine Stackhouse and Zanni Kalayejian, in The Netherlands on Saturday.

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. — A Florida woman and her boyfriend have been charged with trying to sell her infant grandson for $30,000. Florida Department of Law Enforcement agents arrested 45-year-old Patty Bigbee and 42-year-old Lawrence Works on Friday in Daytona Beach after they met with an agent posing as a buyer. Both were charged with illegal sale or surrender of a child, and Bigbee was also charged with communication fraud.

8 Yr-Old-Girl, 2 Others, Dead After Divorce Dispute

FOUNTAIN VALLEY ( KTLA) — A bitter divorce battle turned into a deadly shooting Friday afternoon. A man is believed to have shot and killed his wife and his 8-year-old daughter before taking his own life at a home in Fountain Valley. The shooting happened in the 9900 block of Dandelion Avenue just before 6 p.m.. Officers responded to the shooting after someone inside the home called to report a family dispute.

LOS ANGELES (KTLA) — A vigil was held in South Los Angeles Saturday evening for Aaron Shannon Jr., the 5-year-old boy shot and killed on Halloween. Family members grieved the loss of Aaron as community leaders pledged to bring peace to the gang-ridden neighborhood. On Halloween, Aaron was dressed in a red-and-blue Spider-man costume, having his picture taken by his grandfather in the family yard, when shots rang out. Aaron was hit in the head.

Amid a big rise in the number of reports about potential child abuse or online grooming, how can people stay safe?

Between April 2009 and March 2010, there were more than 6,000 reports sent to the police agency which protects youngsters on the web, nearly 900 more than the previous year. Ceop said a quarter (1,536) related to grooming and another quarter (1,553) related to the possession and distribution of images. The rise was partly down to a greater awareness of the problem, more children using the internet, and young people increasingly posting explicit images of themselves online which could end up on paedophile networks.

A Salina man who went by the name “pervypedostrokin” when trading child pornography images in an Internet chat room was sentenced to 15 years in federal prison, the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Kansas announced Wednesday. Nathan E. Boyce, 42, pleaded guilty to one count of distributing child pornography and admitted to posting pornographic images of children on a public website for trade with other collectors, according to a statement from U.S. Attorney Barry Grissom.

The investigation was begun by agents of Immigration and Customs Enforcement in Los Angeles, who targeted a website on which users were posting and trading child pornography in a chat room. They found Boyce at his home in Salina by following an electronic trail left by a user who called himself “pervypedostrokin,” the statement said.

On March 11, investigators served a search warrant at Boyce’s home and seized computers that contained more than 50 movie files depicting children as young as 3 engaged in sex, bondage, bestiality and masturbation.

Bartlesville, OK — Here’s the final story for Friday and boy does it end the day on a down note. Bartlesville police say that a 10-day-old infant was found dead inside a running washing machine. On Thursday night, a 911 call was made from a home with a lady accusing another of killing her baby. Police were dispatched to the location where they found the infant dead inside a washing machine. Holland said the baby’s aunt stopped by the home to check on the family and found the mother asleep and two smaller children at home but did not see the infant. That’s when she noticed that the washing machine was running out-of-balance and went to investigate.

NEW ORLEANS — A man declared dead 16 years ago was charged Thursday with the recent kidnapping of a 12-year-old Nevada girl whose body was found by hunters in Louisiana. Authorities said 53-year-old Thomas Steven Sanders, legally dead in Mississippi since 1994, apparently had been living in Las Vegas where he met Lexis Roberts and her mother, Suellen Roberts, a few months ago. Lexis Roberts’ remains were found in east-central Louisiana in early October.

Baby found after mom was arrested on burglary charges

WILDOMAR ( KTLA) — A 9-month-old baby boy was found alone in his crib — just a few feet away from an indoor pot farm — while his mother was arrested on burglary charges. 18-year-old Jordan Ann Womack, of Wildomar, was arrested Tuesday, along with housemates Zachary Anderson and Conrad Munoz, both 19, on suspicion of burglary, conspiracy and being under the influence of a controlled substance.

Five men are facing prison sentences after being found guilty of sex offences against girls as young as 12 in South Yorkshire. Zafran Ramzan, 21, was found guilty of raping a 16-year-old girl in her own home. Ramzan – along with Razwan Razaq, 30, Umar Razaq, 24, Adil Hussain 20, and Mohsin Khan, 21 – was also convicted of sexual activity with a child.

A sex offender has been jailed on child rape charges after three children told Cheney police he’d assaulted them. A forensics technician and a Cheney police detective searched a trailer belonging to Bruce L. Austin, 55, at 2225 First St. in Cheney on Tuesday. They seized a computer, cameras and other evidence, including a letter from New York about sex offender registration. Austin is in Spokane County Jail on $250,000 bail, where he was booked Oct. 8 after his alleged victims described the abuse in interviews with child specialists.

A two-year-old girl was raped in her home in Slovo Park, Mthatha, Eastern Cape police said on Thursday. “The child was at home alone during the rape (on Wednesday),” spokesman Lieutenant Colonel Mzukisi Fatyela said. “When the mother arrived home the boy was busy raping the child. A 29-year-old Lawrence man Thursday pleaded guilty to having sex with a 6-year-old girl and possessing child pornography in June. Steve A. Williams admitted to the acts Thursday morning in front of Douglas County District Judge Michael Malone. Williams, who had lived with his mother in northern Lawrence, was arrested and charged this summer with five counts, but Douglas County District Attorney Charles Branson said the plea was important because Williams still could spend the rest of his life in prison.
