MEMPHIS, Tenn. – Two Memphis boys, aged 7 and 9, have admitted to raping a toddler. The victim’s 5-year-old brother told their mother about the abuse after he saw two neighborhood boys abusing his 2-year-old sister, according to The Commercial Appeal. Both boys admitted to the August 9 crime to avoid a trial.

Abercrombie Criticized For Push-up Bikini Aimed at Little Girls

NEW ALBANY, OH– No stranger to controversy, U.S. retailer Abercrombie & Fitch has come under fire for offering a push-up bikini top to young girls. Its “Ashley” bikini — described as “padded” and a “push-up” — was posted on the Abercrombie Kids website earlier this week. The company declined to comment Saturday, but noted it has since updated the description of its bikini online.

RACINE, Wis — Samuel Curtis Johnson III, a billionaire member of the family that runs the SC Johnson & Son household products company, has been charged with repeated sexual assault of a child, officials said on Friday. The child is now 15, and the alleged assault went on for “several years,” according to Racine County District Attorney Michael Nieskes.

BOYLE HEIGHTS– A man is under arrest Saturday after being accused of luring a 6-year-old girl away from her family and sexually assaulting her, police said. Around 8 p.m. Friday police officers responded to a kidnap in progress at Sheridan Elementary School on the 300 block of Cornwell street. When police arrived they found Edward Gonzalez, 28, being held down by witnesses who saw him leave the scene.

Man gets life in prison for murder of 8-month-old

ELYRIA — Kevin Kimbrough, who could have faced the death penalty for the death of 8-month-old Jayden Davidson, pleaded guilty before Lorain County Common Pleas Judge Edward Zaleski. Kimbrough, 27, of Lorain, was sentenced by Zaleski to life in prison with the possibility of parole after 30 years.

Upstate NY soldier charged in 4-month-old girl’s slaying–Couple was trying to adopt baby

WATERTOWN, N.Y. — A Fort Drum soldier who was wounded during a 2009 tour in Afghanistan was charged Friday with killing a four-month-old baby he and his wife were trying to adopt. Jeffrey Sliker, 23, was arraigned Friday in Watertown City Court in northern New York on a second-degree murder charge in the death of Laurne Clark, who was also known as Mollie Sliker. The child was found dead at Sliker’s home Wednesday after his wife alerted authorities. An autopsy determined she died of a blunt-force head injury, and Sliker was arrested.

Montgomery police say former minister Barry Cook has been arrested and charged with sexual torture and aggravated child abuse. Cook, 47, appeared before Montgomery Co. District Judge Sharon Yates Friday and was informed of his charges against him.

Jesuits pay record $166.1 million in child abuse case

(CNN) The Society of Jesus’ Pacific Northwest unit and its insurer have agreed to pay a record $166.1 million to about 500 people who were sexually and psychologically abused as children by Jesuit priests from the 1940s to the 1990s, the Washington State Association of Justice said in statement Friday.

A former Council Bluffs youth pastor allegedly told the teens he is accused of sexually exploiting that he was trying to help them gain “sexual purity in the eyes of God.” Brent Girouex, 31, told Council Bluffs police detectives in February that starting in 2007 he had sexual contact with four young men who he knew while he was a youth pastor for Victory Fellowship Church. Pottawattamie County Attorney Matt Wilber said the number has risen since Girouex first talked with police on Feb. 16. Now, Wilber said there are at least eight people who have come forward.

Police say DNA evidence linked the suspect to the 2002 crime.

NEWPORT BEACH — Police have arrested a man wanted for kidnapping and raping a 12-year-old girl in Fullerton while dressed as a clown. Jose Guadalupe Jimenez, 41, was arrested Friday morning in Newport Beach, more than 9 years after the crime. Detectives say a DNA match linked Jimenez to the kidnapping and rape, which happened on Jan. 19, 2002.

Police have arrested a mother and father who investigators say prostituted their teenage daughters. Police say Anthony and Kathy Hart offered people sexual favors from their 13 and 14 year old daughters in exchange for money, food, and clothes.  According to the arrest report, the girls met with men at various locations in Berea, Richmond, Mount Vernon, Somerset, and Lancaster.

A registered sex offender and his girlfriend both face charges of child abuse after Daytona Beach Shores police caught the woman trying to drop one of her children from a bathroom window onto a small roof so the man would not be caught with children in his apartment, police said. “Mommy held me out the window,” a 3-year-old boy told police, according to an arrest affidavit. “I was bad.”
