On June 27,1997 Dodge city police officers responded to a call 20 month old Colton Downtain was having difficulty breathing. Colton was transported to Western Plains Regional Hospital where he died the autopsy preformed showed he did NOT DIE OF NATURAL CAUSES! DETROIT — For nearly two decades, Carol Bart’s untested rape kit collected dust in a police evidence room. Her attacker, who kidnapped her from outside her Dallas apartment and repeatedly raped her at knifepoint, had spent time in prison by coincidence, but not for sexually assaulting Bart. Bart, now a 52-year-old mother of four, fears that among the thousands of backlogged, untested kits pulled from a Detroit police evidence room are stories of women similarly violated only to be forgotten by a justice system that seemingly has placed its priorities and resources elsewhere. Ex-Police Officer Receives 45-Years for Child Abuse

KINGFISHER — A former Hennessey police officer was given a 45-year sentence after pleading guilty to a felony count of child sexual abuse. Patrick Clay Stackhouse, 29, was ordered to serve all but five years of the sentence by District Judge Paul Woodward. Stackhouse was facing a minimum of 25 years in prison, maximum of life and a fine of $500 to $5,000 for the abuse of an 8-year-old girl that lasted about two years. READ MORE HERE

Man Indicted By Grand Jury On 12-Counts of Child Abuse

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — The man accused in the violent beating of a 2-year-old child was indicted by a grand jury on 12 counts Friday.Albuquerque police said they arrested Diego Gonzales in February 2012 after his girlfriend called to report severe injuries to her 2-year-old girl.   • Parents say online predators will use pages for ‘wrong reasons’
  • Facebook shuts down one page, but others spring up in its place
  • Internet trolls use pages to bully users by posting degrading comments
  • Disabled teenager launches campaign after she was targeted

Controversial Facebook pages that pit good looking children against each other in a bid to find the ‘most beautiful teenagers’ have been branded as ‘bait for pedophiles’. Several contests have been set up in recent weeks inviting youngsters to post provocative pictures of themselves so they can be rated by other users. Hundreds of boys are seen posing without their tops on, while girls as young as 12 pout for the camera wearing skimpy outfits or bikinis. Pervert Teacher Gets 4-Years Prison Decades After Abuse

A FORMER teacher who groomed and sexually assaulted a boy at a notorious private school more than two decades ago was jailed today. Mark Standish, 48, also known as Alex, was locked up for four years for abusing Anthony Hudson between 1988 and 1989. CPS Changes Could Be Coming As Practices Are Currently Being Reviewed

Families dealing with child neglect and abuse often go through lengthy and emotional struggles when dealing with Child Protective Services. But, the question remains: Should CPS be able to take children away at their own discretion, without a court order? Changes could be coming as a review of CPS practices is underway.  Police have to get a warrant if they want to search your house. Detectives have to get a court order to seize your property. High Court accuses politicians of being more concerned about their image than alleged sexual abuse in city orphanage

The Delhi High Court on Wednesday hauled up the state government for being more concerned about its image than probing the alleged sexual abuses at a city orphanage. The observation came after the state had hurriedly decided to issue a notification to set up an inquiry commission to probe the incidents without following proper procedure. This, the court observed, was carried out by the government as a knee-jerk reaction to placate the media following allegations of sexual abuse of children and subsequent death of an inmate at Arya Anathalya in February.READ MORE HERE

Doctors in Delhi said the battered two-year-old, named as Baby Falak, suffered a fatal heart attack. Austin, TX  – Holly Lopez, a 32-year-old special education teacher at Lexington Middle School was jailed Thursday after she allegedly had sex with a 13-year-old student and his 14-year-old friend. According to police, an investigation was launched after one of the boys contacted police stating that he was beginning to feel weird about a sexual encounter that involved his teacher. Death of 15-yo, Anne Kasprzak, found in Jordan River ‘isolated act,’ police say

UTAH–Saturday night, Kasprzak said family members searched that area, but found nothing. They assumed that her phone battery had died in that area. They continued to search for her until about 5 a.m. Sunday, she said. The girl’s body was pulled from the Jordan River near 12600 South Sunday afternoon after police responded to reports of suspicious activity in the area earlier in the day. A bloody sneaker was found on a pedestrian bridge. A shoe found with Anne’s body after she was pulled from the water matched the other on the bridge. SEATTLE—A 3-year-old boy picked up a loaded gun in a vehicle at a Tacoma gas station and accidentally shot and killed himself Wednesday, police said.
