DETROIT, MI – The initial test results of rape kits that went untested for decades show that some attackers have escaped prosecution for more years and have reoffended. A rape kit contains evidence collected from a victim to help arrest and prosecute their attacker. When the former Detroit crime lab was shut down in 2008, Michigan State Police found a stock pile of 11,000 untested rape kits.  These sex crimes went unsolved for almost 30 years. READ MORE HERE

Man Pleads Guilty to Killing, Dismembering 9-year-old Girl

FORT WAYNE, Indiana — An Indiana man plead guilty Friday to killing and dismembering a 9-year-old girl three days before Christmas. Michael L. Plumadore, 39, also pleaded guilty to abuse of a corpse and removing a dead body from the scene in the Dec. 22 death of Aliahna Maroney-Lemmon at a Fort Wayne trailer park. Policeman Kicks Pregnant Woman IN THE STOMACH – Police Department Issues NO CHARGES

A pregnant women ended up being a victim of police brutality during a child custody battle. Jared Wheeler, a young Georgia police officer, is under criminal investigation after he kicked a nine-month pregnant woman so hard in the stomach that she had to have an emergency C-section in order to save her baby.  READ MORE HERE

Authorities are determined to find out the cause of death of two twins. Police in Chicago claim that the 5-month-old twins, Julian and Giselle Romero, were found dead in their crib by their mother, Victoria Rodriguez, who was already being investigated following allegations of child neglect.  READ MORE HERE

A former teacher found herself in quite a predicament after sending nude photographs to a minor. 46-year-old Michelle Kazmierczak is charged with disseminating matter harmful to juveniles for sending topless pictures to her daughter’s eighth-grade boyfriend. Convicted sex offender Brent Kellogg was found by a Sheriff’s Deputy looking at lewd pictures of underage girls in a crowded McDonald’s dining room. DOUGLASS (Montgomery County) — A Pottstown man formerly of Douglass (Mont.) is free on bail awaiting a preliminary hearing on charges he raped and sexually assaulted a child multiple times between 2006 and 2007. Thomas Lee Kelley, 30, whose current address is listed as 935 Queen St., Pottstown, allegedly assaulted the female child at his former address, 229 Montgomery Ave., in Douglass (Mont.), according to court records.  READ MORE HERE

TOWN OF VERONA — An Oswego County man is facing 16 sex abuse charges accused of abusing a 12-year-old girl over a four-month period. Frederick C. Kimball Jr., 47, of Pennellville, was indicted May 9 on six counts of predatory sexual assault against a child, three counts each of first-degree rape, first-degree sex abuse and first-degree criminal sexual act, and one count of endangering the welfare of a child. Rohtak (Haryana), May 10 — Nearly 120 people, including women, girls and children, were rescued from a protection home in Haryana’s Rohtak town following a raid conducted by a team of the National Commission for Protection of Child Rights (NCPCR). Police have arrested the care-taker of the protection home, Jaswanti, and registered a case of rape, molestation, wrongful confinement and criminal intimidation against her son-in-law Jai Bhagwan.
