Boy, 13, suffers terrible injuries after two adults use mechanical pump at car repair shop to force air into his body as a ‘joke’

Assault: 13-year old Du suffered appalling injuries after two men pushed a high-pressure air nozzle into his rectum and was in a coma for eight days following a six-hour emergency surgery.

FITCHBURG, WI — Fitchburg police said a man was arrested after deliberately striking a 20-year-old Fitchburg woman and their 2-year-old boy with a sport utility vehicle, killing the child and injuring the woman.  Police said Jesus A. Castillo-Dimas, 30, has been booked into the Dane County Jail on tentative charges of first-degree intentional homicide and attempted first-degree homicide in connection with this incident.  READ MORE HERE

STATE COLLEGE, Pa. — The beleaguered Penn State University Board of Trustees will meet Friday afternoon, a day after it was named in a scathing report as part of the failures that allowed a longtime sexual predator to prey on boys at the prestigious school. It was unclear if the internal report will be discussed at the board’s regularly scheduled bi-monthly meeting Friday. The investigation, headed by former FBI director Louis Freeh, found that several university leaders had “empowered” Jerry Sandusky to continue his abuse, while Joe Paterno, the school’s legendary head football coach, could have stopped the attacks had he done more. A 23-year-old Senath, Missouri woman is in jail tonight after allegedly admitting to beating her toddler with a cast-iron skillet. Tameca Michelle Bryant , is being held on $100,000 bond in the Dunklin County Jail while her two-year-old son remains hospitalized. According to reports, the 23-month-old boy sustained injuries that did not coincide with Bryant’s account of the accident.READ MORE HERE

 Samuel and Diana Franklin of Butler, Georgia are under investigation for abusing their 15-year-old adopted daughter by making her wear a shock collar and locking her in a chicken coop. According to Daily News, the investigation began in June after the Franklin daughter made the accusation of being forced to wear a shock collar for dogs, but it wasn’t until their arrest Tuesday morning that investigators found the collar. A married couple, David Brain Armstrong, 33, and Danielle M. Armstrong, 22, have been arrested after raping a 5-year-old girl. The couple could face from six to 60 years in state prison if they are convicted. The warrant on Danielle Armstrong states that she committed an act of sexual penetration while performing oral sex on the girl, while David Armstrong’s warrant claims that he forced the innocent child to put her mouth on his penis.  READ MORE HERE

A second teacher from a top boarding school has been jailed after he sexually assaulted young boys more than 30 years ago. Alan Brigden, 67, began sexually abusing boys between 1977 and 1980 at a school in West Sussex before switching to the notorious St George’s School, in Norfolk. Brigden, who had been living in Holland, was extradited in January after police launched an investigation into St George’s school following reports of historic abuse.  READ MORE HERE

VALENCIA, CA — Detectives are searching for an attempted kidnapping suspect in the Santa Clarita Valley. Sheriff’s officials say the man approached a 17-year-old girl waiting to be picked up from Valencia High School around 6:45 p.m. Monday. FACING 330-YEARS TO LIFE IN PRISON

LAGUNA HILLS, CA– A pastor was convicted today of sexually assaulting five young parishioner boys in his Lake Forest apartment. Oscar D. Perez Perez, of Lake Forest, was found guilty of 22 felony counts of lewd acts upon a child under 14, four felony counts of lewd acts on a child, and sentencing enhancement allegations for lewd acts against multiple victims.  READ MORE HERE

Samantha Deal, 22, from Oklahoma, is suing the state for the death of her 5-year-old daughter, Serenity, who was beat to death by her father in June 2011. Deal lost custody of her daughter, after she was charged with molesting a 10-year-old boy. Dying mother, Tenika Revell, from Brooklyn, New York, has been charged with beating her son, Bernard James Revell, 7, to death with a hammer, because she didn’t want to anyone else to raise him after her death. Revell also admitted to choking her son with her bare hands, a belt, and a plastic bag.  READ MORE HERE

COOKEVILLE — A 42-year-old Monterey man who communicated with a 12-year-old Cookeville girl via Facebook and drove here to meet her got a surprise when he arrived at the meeting place. Instead of the girl, it was her father who met the Monterey man. The angry dad called police and also hit the man, bloodying his nose, police said. In the neo-natal intensive care unit at the East Tennessee Children’s Hospital in Knoxville, nurses give baby Grayson morphine every three hours to help ease his painful withdrawal symptoms. “He’s currently on 160 micrograms,” said nurse Andrew Pressnell. Other newborn babies shake and scream as nurses rush to administer care around the clock. The father of a ten-year-old girl who died after being locked in a small box in the baking heat as punishment for taking a Popsicle has been arrested – making it the sixth arrest in the horrific child murder case. David Deal, 52, from Arizona, was arrested on Monday afternoon on suspicion of felony child abuse on his daughter Ame Deal, who suffocated to death almost a year ago on July 12.
