GUILTY! Jury convicts man who gang raped 11-year-old for months after just 20 minutes…. but he’s still missing after vanishing from court

Eric McGowen has been sentenced to 99 years in prison after a jury found him guilty of aggravated sexual assault of a child in the first trial stemming from the horrific gang-rape of a Texas 11-year-old — but the 20-year-old is still missing after brazenly escaping from court yesterday. McGowen hasn’t been seen since he vanished during a break in proceedings on Wednesday afternoonand the Liberty County Sheriff’s Office had no update on his whereabouts today. But Judge Mark Morefield chose to push ahead with the trial without the defendant, calling the remaining witnesses. A teaching assistant was arrested on Tuesday after leaving her six-year-old daughter with a group of homeless people so that she could allegedly go and satisfy her ‘manic sexual rage’, by prostituting herself. Laura Lee Kelly left the young girl with the strangers, in Evergreen Park, Mesa, Arizona. She asked them to babysit and handed them beers in return for their trouble, Fox News reported. The hunt for a fugitive monk who faces pedophile allegations is being stepped up by Scotland Yard today with the release of the first clear photograph of him since his arrest and subsequent disappearance 18 months ago. The image of 68-year-old Laurence Soper, wearing a traditional habit, was taken about ten years ago and will appear on police websites. York, PA – Victoria Manning, 29, and her boyfriend Darren Leber, 33, were charged last week after they allegedly beat and burned Manning’s 3-year-old son over a period of several months. According to police, officers were dispatched last week when Manning brought her 3-year-old son to York hospital and the boy was found to be suffering from numerous injuries and a severe infection to a burn on the arch of his foot.  READ MORE HERE

YPSILANTI, MI – Ypsilanti Police say a man who provides free Christmas dinners to the community has been charges with sexually assaulting a teenage boy. Leonardo Devinci Christian has been charged with 3 felonies and 2 high count misdemeanors. Police say that he began assaulting the boy in November of 2011, when the victim was 13-years-old. Brittany Lenay Wyandt, 20, of Claysburg, Pennsylvania was arrested Tuesday after allegedly giving birth to a 14-year-old’s baby last week. Wyandt approached the 14-year-old’s mother with a sonogram, who then contacted police about the affair. FAIRFIELD — A 10-year-old girl was charged with manslaughter Thursday in connection with the death of a 3-month-old baby from Clinton. Brooklyn Foss-Greenaway died July 8 while she was being baby-sat in a Fairfield home. Police did not identify the 10-year-old. The baby sat alone for 16 hours in a hot third-floor room, strapped in a car seat in front of a TV with no food or water and wearing the same dirty diaper. Before baby Kayla died of dehydration and starvation, she likely screamed, squirmed and cried out for help. Her mother, Kimberly Ann Taschler, was two floors down in their Palmerton home smoking marijuana. 16-year-old Hannah Truelove was discovered dead in the woods near her home in Gainesville, Georgia on Friday night after she had tweeted “I got me a stalker”. DETROIT — A 19-year-old Michigan State University student is recovering Tuesday after surgery overnight for a broken jaw his family says stems from a brutal hate crime. Two men at a party early Sunday attacked Zachary Tennen, a journalism sophomore at MSU, after asking whether he was Jewish, his parents, Tina Tennen and Bruce Tennen said Tuesday.
