PA School Officer Investigated for Child Sex Abuse
The Allegheny County district attorney said Tuesday that his office is investigating whether Pittsburgh Public Schools officials properly handled accusations by at least one former student that a school police officer sexually assaulted him more than a decade ago. The district suspended the officer, a 22-year veteran, with pay on July 25 after a former student told Pittsburgh police that the officer sexually assaulted him in 1999 in a closet at Arthur J.
