A school worker has been jailed for 10 years for abusing two young girls and downloading more than 12,000 vile pornographic images after being shopped to police by his horrified wife. IT assistant Frederick Brookes, 62, plied his innocent victims – both under the age of 10 – with sweets and biscuits before indulging his sick fantasies. Brookes helped teach hundreds of children at a school in the New Forest, Hants. 8-year sentence for Richland child rape

PHOENIX – An Arizona mother was re-arrested on Thursday in connection with the year-long disappearance of her 5-year-old daughter and was jailed on first-degree murder and child abuse charges, authorities said. Jerice Hunter, 38, was taken into custody without incident in her suburban Phoenix home after being indicted by a state grand jury on charges stemming from the presumed slaying of her child, Jhessye Shockley, police said.  READ MORE HERE

Dentist Allegedly Assaulted, Punched 4-YO Victim In Mouth

TALLAHASSEE —The Florida Department of Health’s State Surgeon General, Dr. John Armstrong, on Friday issued an Emergency Suspension Order (ESO) for Thomas P. Floyd, DMD, with the assistance and partnership of the West Palm Beach Police Department. The Florida Department said today that this will halt his ability to practice coinciding with his arrest pending charges of child abuse. Dr. Floyd was arrested this morning after an arrest warrant was obtained through the West Palm Beach Police Department. KANSAS CITY, Mo. — The first American bishop criminally charged in the clergy sex abuse scandal was found guilty Thursday of a misdemeanor count of failing to report suspected child abuse, a conviction that extends the struggle of Roman Catholic leaders to restore trust in the church. Bishop Robert Finn was acquitted on a second count. He received two years of probation, but that sentence was suspended and will be wiped from his record if he adheres to a set of conditions that include mandatory abuse reporting training, setting aside $10,000 in diocese money for abuse victim counseling, and instructing all diocesan agents to report suspected criminal activity involving minors. The FBI lists 27 parents on its Most Wanted list for parental kidnappings. See pictures and information on the parents and children involved in these cases. Fugitive #1 — Faical Chebbi was awarded visitation rights after divorce proceedings in 2011. Authorities say Chebbi exercised his rights and picked up his children, Zainab and Eslam, from their grandparents’ home in Prince George’s County, Maryland. YUMA, AZ – Authorities say a Yuma High School teacher has been arrested in a child pornography case. Yuma police announced Tuesday that 37-year-old Michael A. Surveillance video of a man arrested and accused of kidnapping and, in one case, sexually assaulting two young girls in Prince George’s County has been released by investigators. The man pictured in the video is identified by Prince George’s County Police officials as 25-year-old Charles Amofa of Chillum. Disgraced Penn State football coach Joe Paterno, who died in January, is about to be immortalized in a new movie starring Hollywood legend Al Pacino. The Oscar-winning actor has agreed to take on the controversial role in a film based on the New York Times bestselling book Paterno. The Ohio parents of Olympic gold medalist Tianna Madison have filed a lawsuit against her, saying she falsely spread stories they had been selfish and bullying and cheated her financially causing her bankruptcy. Elyria residents Robert and Jo Ann Madison filed the libel, slander and defamation lawsuit on Thursday in Cuyahoga County Common Pleas Court in Cleveland. They say they’ve been loving, supportive and generous parents. Lake City, FL – Gerome Robinson, an 18-year-old Florida man accused of attempting to rape a 13-year-old girl, told police “the devil tried to rape her in my body.” According to Lake City Police, a 13-year-old girl was walking to her grandmother’s house when Robinson approached her and asked if she wanted to “hang out.”  When the girl told Robinson “No,” Robinson responded by pushing the girl into his backyard, stripping naked and then attempting to undress the victim.  READ MORE HERE

A Florida woman was arrested and charged with child abuse for allegedly locking a four-year-old boy inside a filthy kitchen cupboard for hours on end on multiple occasions. Lori Hamilton, 42, was taken into custody on Thursday and is being held without bail in Polk County Jail. According to authorities, Hamilton repeatedly locked the child inside the compartment and screwed it shut to prevent the four-year-old from escaping.  READ MORE HERE

Henrico, VA – Angela Janecka, a 39-year-old Virginia woman has been jailed after she allegedly placed her newborn baby inside a plastic bag and left her for dead inside an apartment complex dryer. According to police, Janecka called her husband at work on August 25 and informed him that she had just delivered a stillborn child at their apartment.
