8,000 indecent images of children found on his computer
Police traced a paedophile to his home after the indecent picture he took of a girl had a giveaway shop sign in the background. David Mellor, 62, didn’t spot he had included it when he photographed the underage girl, in his kitchen and posted the picture on the internet. But officers in Lincoln recognized the sign and identified the street and his home from the picture’s angle. El Paso County, CO. – Amanda Rowles, a 27-year-old drama and choir teacher at Calhan High School has been jailed after she allegedly had sex with two male students. A judge set bail at $100,000 today for a 20-year-old man accused of silencing his 4-month-old son’s crying by pulling on the infant’s leg until hearing a “popping noise” in the baby’s knee, authorities said. Manual A. Lopez, 20, of the 4900 block of West Oakdale Avenue in the Cragin neighborhood, was charged Sunday afternoon with two counts of felony aggravated battery to a child, police said. The Los Angeles Times published the horrifying database with redacted victims’ names on Tuesday, including material that was released earlier by an Oregon Supreme Court judge’s ruling. The Boy Scouts kept the files – numbering almost 2,000 – for internal use for nearly a century, and they now reveal the systematic coverups by the organisation, which in turn led to more abuse. Skylar’s body was found in a wooded area close to her home on early Saturday Morning by a large search force of law enforcement personnel assisting in the search were going house to house and combing the area. Police are searching for a 34-year-old man who is accused of raping a child in Lancaster County. Investigators from the Southern Regional Police Department have obtained an arrest warrant for Phillip Lee Langley, of New Providence. He is accused of sexually assaulting a 12-year-old girl over the course of 6 months, police said. BURLEY • Tara Leigh Bagley, 41, a vice principal at Burley High School, was arrested Friday on charges of sexually abusing a minor. According to a press release issued by the Cassia County Sheriff’s Office, Bagley was arrested without incident on a warrant by police near St. George, Utah. PENSACOLA, FL – Escambia County Deputies said Dorothea Vega, 59, is suspected of severe child abuse that may have been going on for months. Authorities said the alleged abuse came to light after the victim told a school resource officer.
